Leicester City have completed the signing of Kris Scott from Swansea City today, but could there be another big move on the cards. We have been reporting all day that Jermain Defoe is in the country and Leicester manager Nigel Pearson is apparently keen to speak with the former England international regarding a potential move to the King Power Stadium from MLS side Toronto FC.

Talk of a loan until Jan with a view to a permanent move, we pay him 40k a week until Jan, keep paying him it if he plays well, back to Toronto if he doesn't, have a release clause for relegation, find it hard to see a negative in that scenario.

 

I won't baulk at that.

I love how they really built up the release of the name Jermaine Defoe to us on SSN like his name was bigger than the club, errr we have just signed Esteban Cambiasso you know

Defoes a good striker that aint the problem for me its who doesn't play when all 4 of our strikers are playing excellent at the moment none of them deserve to be on the bench

Wood certainly isn't and Nugent won't get us enough goals. Imagine if we'd gave in to a 3 year contract lol

Hardly, do you really see this as anything but a glamour signing? He wants 90 grand a week! And we've likely not scouted him specifically or in any detail for our team.

 

 

Where have you got that from? He might be on that, although it seems like £70k, but he'll be going nowhere in England on that wage.
