Bluefoxtim Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Thought that was 'off' hours ago as Ipswich rejected the bid?
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 That Mcgoldrick thing is pretty much what happened with the McArthur deal by sounds of it.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 So he's worth less than all the champ strikers around. Be real the guy is worth at least 10m and easily 15m United are a willing seller. It may even be said they need to sell, so in that situation where the player is unlikely to go to accept moves to certain clubs it tempers the price. Is he still going to be worth £15 million if he spends a few months clucking his heels on United's bench?
Corky Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Anyone here really like Jim White and think he is hilarious and great entertainment? https://mobile.twitter.com/search/grid?idx=0&q=jim+white&s=typd
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 That Mcgoldrick thing is pretty much what happened with the McArthur deal by sounds of it. Apart from it seems we ain't getting the 'other' player
jimmeh Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I do find it weird how we've been trying to sign a striker for so long and then don't! Bids for deeney. Mcgoldrick. Slimani. Ndaye. Odd
sphericalfox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Comedian pretending to be a scouser at the Emirates? This is painful to watch, and not just because of all the shit yellowness burning my retinas.

bongo92 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 qpr are still after defoe, and apparently his club is being difficult about selling him. SSN.
bongo92 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 qpr are still after defoe, and apparently his club is being difficult about selling him. SSN. apparently because the club is going through play offs, and will be unlikely to want to sell
Superpants82 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Fee agreed with Man Utd for Tom Lawrence. Hope we get Powell sorted out too. Need one more 1st team player in my view - he'd be a great addition!
Out Foxed Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Who's this Odd you are referring to, must have missed that one. Odd Greenland
foxinsox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I share the scepticism about Nugent getting many prem goals, but his work rate and attitude behind Ulloa is great, we really defend from the front, Ulloa rightly deserves the first choice striker, for goals scored, attitude and work rate. Both Nugent and Vardy would match him well as the Dickov style harrier to Ulloa's Brian Deane. So where does a new striker fit? Wood will come off the bench and score like he did against Everton, and his size and physical presence will be useful off the bench. We need cover against injuries, and someone who can come on for a bit of route one when chasing a game. Who are we going to get who would be happy with that role and better than Wood? And not spoil what appears to be a happy team dynamic. James sounds a bit fed up on twitter, I suspect that Cambiasso arriving means fewer games for James, but we are going to need him this season, and Hammond has also stepped up to the role well. Trust in Nigel. The person we least want to lose is Nigel and his scouts.
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 apparently because the club is going through play offs, and will be unlikely to want to sell But what's the point in having an unhappy player on the books?
sphericalfox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 All kickin' off with the Arsenal spazzes. Scouser amongst the pidgeons. He's a comedian from bbc3
Kitchandro Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 One of these days a reporter will end up in a scrap and Sky will have no one to blame but themselves.
