Alan Brazil reported that QPR were in financial fair play trouble and he said something along the lines of "I'm sure they'll be other clubs too" at this point Ray Parlour started shouting "Leicester" and Brazil said "Yes, like Leicester"

Is this founded or is it just another example of how out of touch the media are with "money bags leicester"?

This is a national station FFS!

QPR spend money - They're really going for it with some canny purchases. 'arry is a great dealer in the transfer market.

Leicester spend no money - OMFG LEICESTER ARE BUYING THE LEAGUE!! DEMOTE THEM TO THE EVERARDS LEAGUE AND SACK EVERYBODY IN LEICESTER IMMEDIATELY. FFP MUST BE OBEYED, UNLESS YOU'RE 'ARRY! #bigspendingleicester

Didn't the owners or Susan Whelan say that Nige had worked really hard to comply with FFP? Pearson goes on about it a lot and the restrictions so he's aware.

They are probably talking crap, normal for Brazil however who knows next to bugger all.

Why people waste their time with talksport I have no idea. Life's too short to get angry at talksport.

True, but it's like hearing someone dising your family! It's natural to be annoyed I think.

They said it with such confidence I was questioning if something had come out in the press about us today. Obviously not!

Ray Parlour is one of the thickest people on the planet. He's so fvcking dumb it's hard to believe he's actually human. His grasp of numeracy is probably not greater than an urchin.

Normally I'd suggest they did it so that people would text/call/tweet or whatever in outrage, however this seems like they're just flat out ignorant.

So let me get this right they are saying that QPR & Leicester have overspent in the summer transfer window and are putting the club in danger of going bankrupt?

Met and drank with Brazil a few times and he's a nice bloke but the booze has completely sozzled his brain, just talks complete utter bollocks now non stop.

Further proof we're a nation of headline readers. How we still have that tag I really don't know.

Even IF we did not make it I do not think we will be that far over the limit so a small fine.

QPR could be looking at 50m we will be way short of that.

I would also bet there are a few teams between us and QPR.

qpr allegedly lost 40 million last season. which allowing for the parachute payment is a hell of a lot and are facing a pound for pound fine. if and only if they get relegated.

we however under pearson did everything we could last year to meet ffp.

huge difference.

but as market leaders we best home sean isn't sat on any panel deciding lol

They haven't released the figures from last season yet, all of this speculation is based on applying last season's accounts, the figures from the season before put us as high spenders and no where near FFP compliant. The same as QPR, we are speculating about QPR as much as Talksport is speculating about us.

The reason why there is more speculation around QPR at the moment and they are the focus is probably that someone somewhere knows they will be hit with a heavy fine and has tipped off the press, but they can't say that so they say based on last released set of accounts QPR would be in line for a heavy fine and so would Leicester.

No need to get worked up about it, we know we have done a lot of work getting inside FFP, others won't follow us as closely that is natural, but really we have no clue what our finances look like and we could be in line for a fine, hopefully not the size of QPR's fine, so let the speculate and just hope that they are wrong.
