Danny Murphy is on Colin Murray's show today and I don't think there's a better pundit right now. Everything he says is spot on, he's just been talking about Tom Huddlestone and why he should be England's holding midfielder. I used to love him as a player, but Murphy is even better off it, talking about the game. Give that man a show.

I think he's on every Thursday, or used to be. Like you say, he talks a lot of sense and is generally all round entertaining.

It's not only a Hindu symbol either, it has meanings in Buddhism and Taoism. You see loads over ancient architecture in East Asia.

I wonder what the origins or Buddhism and Taoism is.

Met and drank with Brazil a few times and he's a nice bloke but the booze has completely sozzled his brain, just talks complete utter bollocks now non stop.

Do keep an eye on your drinking, then, won't you, Matt?

Even though we're not in it at the moment - and hopefully won't be for a long time - don't forget to tune in (*) to the Football League Hour every Saturday morning at 6am on talkSPORT #UpTheLeague

You're a good representative of the club and fanbase on the station Geoff.

I'd imagine we're looked at more favourably than Peterborough, for example.

I sometimes listen to Talksport as I'm on my way somewhere in the car.

I find Colin Murray to be an exceptional radio presenter and the Hawksbee and Jacobs show can be hilarious. One of them is really quick witted. Cant remember which. Clips of the week cracks me up.

Whenever Leicester is mentioned, people immediately associate us has being massive spenders, who spend way beyond our means. They obviously haven't seen that since Sven left there has been a major overhaul in terms of wage structure and spending to comply

Talksport is about as bad as it gets in sports reporting, washed up hacks with shows and far too many adverts, I only listen to it when driving back from a 3pm away match because they have the late commentary, they even manage to wreck this by constantly talking about the latest odds from the bookies that sponsor them.

Jonny Vaughan's Sat and Sun morning warm up show on Talksport with James Brown is highly amusing. His James Brown "Leeeeds United YORKshire" impression is a highlight as is his Adrian Durham impression, but both not as good as the Woy Hodgeson one as Danny out of Withnail & I.

Brazil needs Porky Parry back with him. Superb morning banter.

All those who let Talksport wind you up "why so serious!" You can always choose the middle class liberal loving Radio 5 who's football coverage is mixed in with liberal debates about how to be more accepting and liberal.

What a pile of crap

Talk sport is the equivalent of The Sun newspaper, and like The Sun, it is aimed at people who are barely educated

Did you catch the shipping forecast this morning old boy? Get back to me later as I'm sure Thursday evening is when you digest the woman's hour podcast.

Alan Brazil reported that QPR were in financial fair play trouble and he said something along the lines of "I'm sure they'll be other clubs too" at this point Ray Parlour started shouting "Leicester" and Brazil said "Yes, like Leicester"

Is this founded or is it just another example of how out of touch the media are with "money bags leicester"?

This is a national station FFS!

No, it's a bunch of ill-informed, moronic dinosaurs called talkSport.

I really havent understood the FFP rules yet and after reading this thread I still dont ...

If you are Arry - your a cvnt who overspent to achieve promotion and should be managing a team in the evostick league but you wont be coz your overspending will keep you up.

If you are Dych - your a cvnt who underspent and moaned about it and will be managing a team in the evostick league coz you and your club are shit.

If you are Pearson, you spent plenty but coz its compared to Sven it seems like nothing at all and are a god amongst men and should be co managing Leicester and England

Does that help? :)
