Deucalion Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Driving past the KP yesterday my wife got all excited because there is building work being done near the KP. As I was driving I couldn't have a good look. She says an area of ground has been flattened. She speculated they could be building extra parking, which would make sense. My fertile imagination is now linking it with a ground extension. We don't live in Leicester so can't go and have a look, which I feel like doing. Anyone cast any light on this?
Ross-Kemp Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 It has been like this for the past 6-7 weeks. It's been up for sale for months but the land was horrendous, my thoughts are that they've tidied it up and flattened it in order to gain more interest. It's still up for sale now.
Matt Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I've heard there's going to be a bar built. It was only a passing comment I overheard but still for what it's worth i'll put it out there. #ITK.

You would think the club would buy it.
lgfualol Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 They should build a Greggs outside the stadium
Deucalion Posted 14 September 2014 Author Posted 14 September 2014 They should build something to do before the game as you have to park hours before these days.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Needs to be a Mcdonalds/Burger King or something along those lines built around there. There is nothing like that in the area
Voll Blau Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 They should just build a huge warehouse so we can have massive pre-match gabber raves.
Ross-Kemp Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I don't think the club will buy it because of the gas works inbetween.
foxoffderby Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Needs to be a Mcdonalds/Burger King or something along those lines built around there. There is nothing like that in the area Your right. Nobody sells burgers anywhere near the ground. Should be a car park for me.
Spudulike Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 How about a car sales showroom.... you can't have enough of those.
StanSP Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Was like since before start of the season I think. Definitely believe there should be some kind of amenity there. Bar would be a preference, or a fast food outlet.
Corky Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Pearson's, Birch's and Top's statues are going there.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Your right. Nobody sells burgers anywhere near the ground. Should be a car park for me. Yeah because I love paying £4-5 pound for a substandard burger. Brilliant value for money.
SemperEadem Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Yeah because I love paying £4-5 pound for a substandard burger. Brilliant value for money. You pay that for a substandard one in Mcdonalds as well?
Stadt Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 [insert not funny gary taylor fletcher Mcdonald's joke]
Christoph Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 You pay that for a substandard one in Mcdonalds as well? In all fairness the burger van burgers are actually worse tasting than mcdonald burgers. Unless your paying for the premium hand made burgers the rest taste like dirt and the buns arent the best.
Zapp Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 They should build a Greggs outside the stadium im all over this lets start a petition!
foxoffderby Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Yeah because I love paying £4-5 pound for a substandard burger. Brilliant value for money. no your right mcdonalds do the best burgers such value, and all the small businesses around the ground should close for more franchises and supermarkets. Sod the small man and the local economy I say.
Eddy Kellys Heroes Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Yes lets bow down to the illuminati burger chain and pay homage to the Zionists who are stealing our wonderful game
Sly Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 They were going to build 77 houses but it's been cancelled. It that's the same patch of land!!
Hollism Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 McDonald's are looking to open a new store on the site of the current Morrisons petrol station within a few years. #McITK
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 [insert not funny gary taylor fletcher Mcdonald's joke] I heard that GTF was due to start against Everton but he got distracted by a burger van and ate all the burgers and was too full to play so he just stood outside eating burgers. I'm not ITK but I heard it from a very reliable sauce (fingerprints smeared all over the ketchup bottle)
Irish Chris Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Needs to be a Mcdonalds/Burger King or something along those lines built around there. There is nothing like that in the area Jesus Christ
