Cambiasso - Why I love him...

He thought he was at fault for Manchester's 2nd and 3rd goals. Watch the replay! It's like it's ended his world that he wasn't closer to the men that scored. Esteban, you can't be everywhere at once...

Now I come on to his goal.....

2 PICTURES SUM IT UP.... The run into the space to score the goal was pure instinct

Best thing about him is the way he was coaching the game from the bench when he came off. Literally jumped off his seat screaming at DD at one point. Only here for the moooooney though eh  ...

Shit could you imagine him with Lloyd?

He really seems to have thrown himself into the club and fitted in effortlessly. Despite all he's achieved you'd forgive him a bit of big time Charlie but there is no evidence of it, not an ounce. Seems a real clubman/team player.

It's things like this which makes him a great acquisition.

Just before Nuge was about to take his penalty, it was only Utd players round the edge of the box. Cambiasso was the one telling our players (who were walking back from getting a drink) to get on the edge of the box for any rebounds, ushering them towards the area.

That's just an example of his leadership and it was right place right time for his goal which sparked some of the best celebrations I've seen at the KP.

What a man.

Johnathan? Isn't that Russell Grant?

Shit yes it is! No wonder I couldn't find him with "Jonathan star sign reader" into google! All i got was Jonathan Stead!

Did you see him during the warm-up too?!  He was clearly showing Drinky and Moore some tactics for the game, was going on and on, gesturing etc. Was great to see!

What a signing this guy will be for us He is an absolute leader, and as much as I love Big Wes, he is not a tactical leader like Cambiasso and probably less vocal too.

Great signing Nige!!!  Can see why we waited so long for him to sign now

You beat me to it,  I was going to say the same thing. It's plain to see why Nigel tried so hard to get him to sign for City. Got to be a masterstroke by Nigel & his staff to acquire such a talent in competition with some top clubs that also wanted him.

The team did a great job in selling our football club to Cambi, as he was quoted as saying that the reason he came was because he was told that they wanted him & he was their no.1 , no.1, no.1 target.

No transfer fee involved, he could well prove to be one of the best signings in the Prem this season.

I liked how he was screaming at Vardy to come closer and mark someone on the edge of the box during a Man Utd set piece. Straight after it was cleared he was shouting towards Vardy and sticking his thumbs up as if to say "sorry for screaming at you" but Vardy didn't see so he ran closer and kept doing it until Vardy noticed and gave him a thumbs up back. He just seems so in control and professional. Great performance from him today.

I agree with all you wrote, but he said he was told he was our no.1, no.2 and no.3 target, i.e. We only wanted him.

He's has been a world class player in the past an doesnt seem to have the slightest bit of arrogance about him, sems like a humble man who just wants to play as well as he can for his team and pass on any knowledge he has acquired over the years to younger players, He didn't come to leicester for the money IMO he came for honest reasons and hope we an keep him for seasons to come

I don't care how old he is.  As long as his legs hold up, he will be extremely valuable to the club.  I think being a DM in Italy translates well to the Premier League as opposed to being a winger or AM.

Showing his quality already and you can see the whole team have so much respect for him.

Hes a leader which is great to see we have a blend of youth, experience, teamwork, passion and leadership.

A lot if teams struggle to find any of these!
