Unabomber Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 In all seriousness pedigree is meant to be bad. I feed mine either cesar/bakers gourmet thing with some human food (either braising steak or whatever is cheap) and some dry mixer.

My old man worked at that factory for 30 years before retiring, still gets a mad discount at the on site shop... probably helps his choice of dog food for his 2 dogs tbf.

The dog loves it, healthy stools, no added sugar/any other nasties and it's carefully calculated with the proteins and oils needed for healthy dogs. Definitely don't go on the cheap - feeding a puppy with that Bakers garbage is like bringing up a child on McDonalds chips. Crammed full of additives and salts/sugars so the dog eats it, but of incredibly poor nutritional value. The cheaper foods are also known to give dogs bizarre energy spikes and lulls, and not getting the nutrition they need can bring on joint problems at very young age which can cost loads in vet bills and insurance premiums We were feeding Wainwrights Puppy Best Friend to start but Arden Grange is supposedly the king of puppy foods so we weaned her onto that Please for your pup's sake don't go for Bakers or any bargain basement stuff

Always taken my cats there and been treated well We're registered there, good service and Borajo himself is a completely humourless chap, which makes him come across as incredibly professional Also worth considering Chine House in Sileby - a little further afield but supposedly the best vets in the county

Pedigree is pretty poor tbf, but saying that my birds dads dog, a springer, had that all his life he was healthy and active till he was 13, just depend on each individual dog really
