Handed West Brom 3 points when they themselves were "ok".

Too kind perhaps?

I'm sure I've heard that one somewhere before...

Come the end of the season throwing away points at home to teams around us who are "ok" will see us down.  Nothing ok about that.

Simply couldn't understand our formation from the off. No width whatsoever. Drinkwater and James both playing out of position and not central enough to be able to have the sort of influence we know they can have.

The subs were baffling. Pearson's worst tactical performance ever. We need a goal, so rather than bring on a wide man, we brought on 3 x 6ft players and began hoofing it up to them at every opportunity. Lescott was immense, but we played right into his hands.

So disappointed. WBA were so average, but that's all they needed to be.

Nugent is not good enough. So often he lost the ball, was standing watching the game pass him by, not anticipating things. He's just no threat whatsoever. Stood there watching that long throw go into their penalty area first half. A good switched on striker would have been there attacking it. Powell looked in 10 minutes to be 10 times the player Nugent is.

Need a goal, so brings on two very good finishers. What a stupid move

What I didn't understand from today was why we kept hoofing the ball with Vardy and Nugent up front. 9 times out of 10 they were always going to lose the aerial battles against Lescott and Dawson.

Need a goal, so take off our biggest threat in Vardy, stick Wood up front and play hoof ball to West Brom's tall defence.

It was creativity we desperately needed today.

I'm not too disheartened by todays game.

If Vardy buries the overhead and Andy King does better with a couple of headers then it's a different story. West Brom offered very little and once again Wasilewski has made us look solid at the back, for the first time in a while.

Nigel played the diamond today, and it came close to working. It wasn't a disastrous way to line up. It's the subs he made which I found were bad. We were crying out for some creativity. Mahrez and Knockaert should have been in place to come in.

My personal preference is 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1. It means we get to use Mahrez and Knockaert. There's where our creativity comes from.

The problem with today is that Vardy was the only one who could run past an opponent. Where as last season at one stage we had Dyer, Schluup, Vardy, Mahrez, Knockaert and De Laet (when he was playing well) on the pitch.

Like I said, I prefer 4-4-2 but if Nige goes with something different then he needs to make sure our forwards get service and that our midfielders can get into goalscoring positions.

We dust ourselves down and go again. There's no disaster here. The positive is that our defence looked better. Next game we need to offer more going forwardown.

IF.... what a get out for losers !

All in all a drab game where we absolutely didn't deserve to lose. WBA offered so little attacking wise and we had a couple of good chances. Typical of our form at the moment that their goal was a freak own goal under no real pressure.

I thought we kept the ball better in patches and that's when we caused them problems. Still lacked a lot of quality going forward.

On the plus side, despite conceding a goal we actually were rather untroubled and looked much more solid with Wasilewski there. However, Konchesky is reverting back to his panicky "I don't know what I'm doing" self and even I'm starting to think Nugent is really really struggling at this level. Too slow on the ball, always getting caught out. He's not the only forward playing badly though!

But. It was an improvement and we were unlucky. It wasn't great to watch but I don't think this season is going to be pretty! We do need to come out of the other side of the battle with points though! Can't believe we lost that.

They're not going to score if there's no one to provide an assist are they? No point lumping the ball forward to them. Lescott was loving it

Because we had no other option, as we had no width whatsoever

Couldn't get worse than the Swansea game, give the players some credit, looked devoid of confidence but tried, the effort was there.

Plus side, James looked like he can hold his own in this league, big was played well, but was lucky not to be in trouble.

The negatives are we looked like we could still be playing now, and still not score.

Don't understand the formation or tactics, the game was played so narrow and was trying to get through a brick wall, the game was crying out for width.

Nigel needs to get players in a formation they feel comfortable with and get some confidence back, we have been here before, regards the way we are performing and lacking ideas, diference is we had lots of points on the board last time, so the pressure is really on the management to sort this "crisis in confidence " out quickly, not pretty to watch at the minute.

If Vardy, King and Morgan bury their chances instead of passing straight to Foster we are saying how well Pearson set us up to control the ball and limit West Brom's chances (which we did). Agree Nugent needs to come out of the side.

We were never going to win today.

Too bothered about trying to match up West Brom rather than playing to our own strengths. A frustrating afternoon where we probably didn't deserve to lose and we've been undone by yet another flukey goal, as well as not having any ideas other than to hoof the ball once we'd went behind.

I thought both centre backs were fine today. Dominated Berahino and he was made to look like Elvis Hammond. Think he was offside more times than he touched the ball today.

De Laet had a bit of a better game, but I still think Danny Simpson deserves a shot. The cross did come from Ritchie's side but I don't think the defence was the problem today. Konch dallied a bit on the ball too much but not having an out and out winger hindered him today when going forward as he is ok when he over laps. It's not so much of a problem for De Laet because of his pace.

The game was lost in the midfield. No one apart from Cambiasso seemed to know what they were doing for me and we were just all over the place as well as being put under constant pressure from their midfielders. Didn't get much time or space to play (partly because we were too narrow) and when we moved the ball we couldn't move it with enough intensity or any wider because there was no one there to move it to. So it either went backwards or back where it came from. It just seems that after 5 minutes West Brom had figured out our game plan and we then didn't know what to do.

Nugent was like a rabbit in the headlights although we got his usual endeavour. Vardy's game was totally wasted today, all we did was try and hit hopeful balls into the channel and again this was quickly figured out. WBA then just sat their centre backs off a bit more and were able to read what was coming and easily defend it.

As soon as we went behind they were happy to sit back because they knew they had to simply pack the midfield (again, no width helped them) so we couldn't get through the centre and the aimless long balls were easily defended.

Kingy should've done better with his chance and that was the closest we came to scoring.

A frustrating day, one that could and should've been better. Keep the faith.

The atmosphere was awful. We rely on l1 for the atmosphere but it was pretty much silent. Sure we made a bit of noise driving the team on but little chanting. Another poor day at the office for everone.

crap game.

2 poor teams.

king has to do better wiv the header from 2 yards out.

No wingers-no clear cut chances for the strikers.

Pearson has alot of work to do because Pulis is waiting!!!!!!

Back to basics and what we thrived on in the Championship.

Stick with 4-4-2 and back to the wide players (preferably Knocky and Mahrez).

If it fails it fails. At least we can stay true to our ethos and its better than switching formations/starting XI every game...

Couldn't agree more. Fans around us (SK1/SK2) were appalling today. Some morons in SK2 started booing when Morgan passed the ball back to Schmeichel around the the 60 minute mark and we're rightly greeted with a torrent of abuse. Also, those leaving 5/10 minutes before the end should think about the impact this has on the players before criticising the team.

What happens on the pitch has a massive say on the atmosphere, I'm afraid

My big concern is our lack of goals. Four of our last 5 games we've failed to score. Playing with 4 central midfielders and telling everyone to hoof it was never going to give us much chance.

Played well up to the goal then struggled for 10 minutes thought we were better than them. I would be happier if that was nugents last ever game for us get got caught in possession 5 times and missed passed it 5 times prem is not his league I'm afraid

This spot bloody on. Where has our quick passing and moving gone? If anyone finds it please direct it back to the King Power stadium.

Okay my opinion of this game as changed compared to after leaving the ground, on the way home I was thinking "God that soo bad, we looked clueless and so soulless" however I've been home an hour or two and allowing the game to sink in more, I have to say the performance wasn't so bad as it looked. We created loads of chances but what went wrong was simply we couldn't put them away plus one minor error at the back cost us even a point, comparing this game to the other two this was 10x better in them games we never looked like scoring and we had no sort of creativity. One thing we did have in common with the other two games was in all three we weren't given the time on the ball, which is very concerning. The trouble with Leicester is, they can't score goals from nothing, you'll never see Leicester win scrappy like what West Brom did today. Leicester need alot of build up in there play and sadly in the premier league, Leicester will find themselves up against teams like West Brom in that style, this is I'm afraid the harsh reality of the premier league I'm afraid there's not many times that play what we like to call beautiful football. Leicester need take note of how West Brom played and learn from it, West Brom came to frustrate Leicester by playing a deep defensive line, giving Leicester limited time on the ball also only attack on the counter. Teams Leicester always struggle against, today was probably pretty similar to Chelsea away.

West Brom defended pretty well and probably deserve alot praise on how they played, not the most attractive side but they did what they at to do.

On Leicester, despite creating alot of chances we just seem to be missing that attacking midfield, somebody with a bit of pace who can drive through the middle of the oppositions defence with an extra bit of power when they shoot. For me we're just three points away from kicking start a good run, we've got a good set of players that are just very low on confidence at the moment, today was most noticeable.

Questions to be asked by everyone for all our huffing and puffing we probably had two shots on target and two headed efforts all game. Foster, I hate that man, never had such an easy game. Poor tactics, poor formation and we are going nowhere fast. Another three points dropped against fellow relegation rivals again. We are taking up Burnleys mantle no goals again that's two goals in five games now.

I'm talking from minute 1. Sure you can point to the previous games but surely every football fan is up for a new game?

It was like it last season at times, towards the end of the season, it was quiet at the start of games, I think people were nervous about needing the results, we played well, and the atmosphere got better due to the performance.

I think everybody today was flat after the Swansea game, and again I think it was nerves, dread at how we were going to perform.

We have proved how good of an atmosphere we can create this season, if the performance is right.
