promised land Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Ask me after the Sunderland game Is that the Sunderland away game?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Think we should stay up, but have absolutely nothing going forward and barely again had a shot. Couldnt score in a brothel currently
Callabinho Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 No way, now that we have gone beyond the coupon busters we can't compete. We've come up against the teams who will be in and around us and have failed miserably. If we are to survive unfortunately for Nigel it will be without him. I've lost respect for him after his interview tonight.
fuchsntf Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Facts are facts, dreams are dreams, hope is eternal. Get real, we are Leicester city football fans, I only expect what they deliver, let that be rubbish, great, crap, average, diabolical, fantastic, worse, best, lucky, unlucky, refs fault, great ref. Enjoy the ride, or suffer from travel sickness, ride the waves, have that sinking feeling, hold our heads above the water or proud and high. Orgasms, or frustrated quicky in the graveyard, or heavenly angels exploding around me. A FOX I AM A N D WILL STAY AND DIE, no matter who tries to scupper my funeral. Whatever the inevitable I believe always in the...+1. So not in the top 10 or bottom 3. Not yet xmas or easter, no chance of being presumptious, and sell my next 6 months to negative waves. you losers and doomsday predictors. The hounds have to chase the fox, they aint even got the scent yet.
Deucalion Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I'm now doubting whether the players we have are able to step up in the time we have. The same is true for Pearson. Given time I believe he will rise to any challenge and conquer it, but the truth is we only have the remainder of this season to do it. Both players and manager are further away from being competent at this level than I thought at the beginning of the season.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I still believe we will stay up and I truly believe the end of the season will give us a better idea of our starting 11 then what we think it is right now.
Moonstomp Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 So the real true blue fox in me says we'll easily stay up .... But then I hate any criticism of City. The reality is often different and with most teams scoring at least 2 against us and our total lack of attacking threat in the last few games I do think it's gonna be a long cold winter for us ..... If the results don't get better the January window won't help either!
hesapeepingtom Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I've only really shifted because I'm not confident the owners will be sensible, if we keep Nigel I think we'll probably be safe before the final day. If not it depends on the appointment. Now how on earth do you figure that? Pearson sounds like a finished man post match interview and 1 goal in 6 away games says he is.
Larry_LCFC Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 People say its gotta give eventually. Im not convinced. The cracks that have formed are turning into grand fvckin canyons and I cant see us staying up without a radical transformation. Pains me to say that!
Monsell1976 Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Worrying thing is the players look they have lost the believe/ confidence they should be in the premier league. Start of the season thought we had a chance of staying up, after a glimmer of something special, I just can't believe how we have ****ed it up. As things are, can see us relegated without a doubt, can see us finish bottom how crap we look.
Buzzell Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 It was always going to be a difficult campaign and a totally different one to last season. After the Man Utd game I honestly thought we was safe but know I'm not sure. We look absolutely clueless at the moment. If we don't sort this out we will go down.
fuchsntf Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 All this talk about players have lost belief, and its there for all to see. What a load of rubbish...Amazing what people can throw into the circle, just for the sake to post drivel.
Guest ttfn Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I thought we'd finish about 12th. If Nigel gets his act together and ditches this god-forsaken diamond then i think we can still finish there. Recently there's not been much of a gap between about 11th and 18th anyway so I couldn't care less where we finish as long as it is above the line.
Dan Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 14th pre-season and I've stuck with it since - I will however admit after the Man Utd game I didn't think it was beyond us to finish in the top half.
foxfan92 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 It's going to be a rollercoaster season. Fact is that it's been very close between all the teams in the bottom half of the division for the last few seasons - and a run of a few good games can shoot you up the league. Just look at Newcastle. I don't quite get all the doom and gloom going around. Yes I'd prefer we weren't 18th - but we're hardly in trouble yet. I still believe we'll avoid relegation. We should be doing all we can to support the team - giving them that boost and acting as the metaphorical 12th man on the pitch.
ScouseFox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 we've got the players to finish 12th-16th. we're playing the system to finish twenty ****ing first.
MC Prussian Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Ask me at the start of the season, I thought we would stay up. Ask me after the United win, I thought we'd finish mid-table. As for now, I think we'll go down. How many of you have had this rapid opinion shift? Well, there you go. We all base our opinion on the current run of form. A few weeks ago we looked like world-beaters, now it's doomsday for many. I'll simply enjoy this rollercoaster ride of emotions because I do know we'll hit back again sooner than later. This time around, there's no other season to compare this one to. It's our first adventure back in the top flight for ten years, so of course we'll have to learn a lesson or two as we go along. The only frustrating part right now is that the manager as well as a large part of the squad who brought us back to where we're now are lacking that understanding. And that's baffling.
Burbo17J2 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I do think we can stay up. With Pearson if he doesn't use stupid fvcking tactics
suffolk fox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 After our failure to bring in quality during the Summer I was both pleased and surprised by our amazing start. I knew we would eventually be found out, especially at this level. Thought we would be in a relegation scrap all season long now think we will finish bottom can we beat Derbys woeful record? At this moment that looks unlikely. Worryingly even Burnley and definitely Qpr look more potent up front than we do.
Spanner73 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I wrote a little on here during the summer as I was concerned about the striker situation , I felt like many others we didn't have the firepower to compete at this level , I can only speculate this was down to Pearson's stubborn attitude on wages and fees , now i wasn't saying at the time we should break the bank but history will tell you if you can't score goals at this level your in trouble and so far it's proved myself and many many others were right on this , pearson talks about fine lines and to a point he's right , teams now know we have scored 1 in 6 games away , so therefore score against Leicester and take the points , you can fault the work rate and the effort but it's his failure to secure and top striker that will be his downfall so no I haven't changed my mind on that !
Nalis Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I haven't. Despite our bad run we are only one goal on goal difference from being 17th. Shit thing is though the teams around us are performing better than we are at the minute...
sylofox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 Not saying I want Nige sacked but with the piss poor tactics and the poor showing it's getting bad. But I will say he has lost my respect He don't care what others think Well he fvcking well should.
chapero82 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 this is how middlesborough played when he was there
suffolk fox Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 I haven't. Despite our bad run we are only one goal on goal difference from being 17th. Shit thing is though the teams around us are performing better than we are at the minute... Your last sentence rephrase to the rest of the league are? So endeth the lesson.
Spanner73 Posted 9 November 2014 Posted 9 November 2014 But I will say he has lost my respect He don't care what others think Well he fvcking well should. Your absolutely right , I don't like the mans belittling stubborn attitude !
