Realistic signings and other chit chat.

Some of you on here are clueless. Podolksi? Get a hold of yourselves.

None of us have said these are going to happen. All we have said is that with enough money they could.... And in football these days with enough money anything can happen!!!

Scott Sinclair, point to prove is a decent player, but is he match fit?

Martin Olsson - crying out for a left back, has impressed me when I've seen him play.

Robert Huth - Not playing for Stoke, could be a cheap signing no doubting his quality and experience.

Defoe - If he's still got it, could be just what we need.

Sanogo - Can't have too many strikers, could be a decent option.

Charlie Adam - Doubt he'd come but regular first team football could be tempting, he's in and out at Stoke.

Virgil Van Dyke - Would take him, playing in a sub standard league at the moment but definitely quality.

Arouna Kone - Quality player, could score us some goals, fitness though an issue?

Any of these would be decent signings for us IMO.

I like this list but I think Huth and Adam are unlikely. Would love Van Dijk here. Olsson would be miles better than Konch and Scott Sinclair could be a good one. Depends how much his heart is left in the game after sitting on the bench and earning a lot of money at Man City for so long!!

I think somebody suggested Gareth Macauley on loan, he's getting on a bit but he'd sort out a lot of our problems.

Most sensible list yet, however Adam is not going anywhere. I also fear that we won't be looking at quality Prem players sadly, it'll be foreigners we've never heard of or champ players for excruciating prices.

Also. I'll keep saying it...Rueben Loftus Cheek...

Both Olsson's mentioned here and both are good shouts who would improve us in my opinion. Don't think we'd get Jonas though.

Van Dijk is a very decent shout.

Obviously depends on how seriously we are going to hit the bank in January, but I think the Thai's are backing NP & I can't believe after everything they have done in the years to get us this far, they will not be spending very seriously now that we need extra quality on the pitch.

Thinking of getting in some creativity in the midfield & someone who finds the net:

Ravel Morisson - Not playing, possibly not a NP player. Has potential, just doesn't fit for Allardyce.

Joel Campbell - Not getting much game time, did well in the World Cup & for Olympiacos last season.

Fabio Borini - Not getting much game time, works hard, did ok at Sunderland last season.

Matajia Nastasic (loan) - Going somewhere in Jan...

Scott Sinclair - Not playing, did well at Swansea, never going to play reguylarly at Man City.

Sergio Canales - On the bench for Sociedad, they have too many centre mids.

Hatem Ben Arfa - Another not playing but bombed out of 2 clubs in 6 months, says alot, but he has talent no doubt.

Jon Flanagan - Can't understand why he is not playing infront of Johnson

Alberto Bueno - Goals from the wing.

Adnan Janusaj - Loan in Jan.

Sergio Garcia - £6M scores 1 in 2 in la liga

Surely we shouldn't have too many problems loaning in some decent reserve center halves?

The parent clubs will at least know their players will be doing a lot of defending.

I think we should look toward the european market, particularly as we seem reluctant to spend big (and potentially for good reason!)

Was looking at that Kramaric and stumbled across this guy.... 47 in 66 appearances.... 6ft 2....

... obviously the best of video, but looks like a pretty good finisher with a bit of pace, desire and flair.....Sign him up... £10million... you're welcome NP.  :xmascool:

Plus what an awesome name Duje Cop (Dodgy Cop)

Ben Arfa and Morrison lol. Perfect for a relegation battle. I give up.

In December 2014, however, Ben Arfa unexpectedly left England, with Hull manager Steve Bruce later admitting he did not know where the player was and that his career with Hull appeared to be over.[102]

Ben Arfa has 'verbally agreed' to go Nice apparently, don't quote me on that cause I'm not 100% sure

Clément Chantôme would be a decent addition to our midfield, looking to leave PSG and his contract runs out this year

Nice but would be a waste of even £50 for us as we dont get the ball in or around the 6yrd box enough.

Paul Robinson would be perfect as a backup keeper. He won't keep us up, but we do need better cover in the GK department.

I think we need a lot of new players our strength in depth is terrible as far as premiership quality goes

Back up GK

Mattio Darmian-Torino RB or LB 7m

Mattia De Siglio-milan LB or RB 11m

Vlad Chiricheș-Spurs CB 4m

Virgil Van Dijk-Celtic CB 4m

Scott Sinclair-man City LM 5m

Nathan Redmond-Norwich RM 2m

Mohammed Diame-hull CM 2m

Mike Jedinak-palace CM 6m

Aleksander Mitrovic-anderlecht ST 10m

Fabio Borini-liverpool ST 7.5m

Would mean a lot of business and parting with a lot of cash but it would improve our squad 10 fold.

Never gonna sign De Siglio, Diame and Jedinak, Van Dijk valued at £10m, others are good shouts!
