I really wouldn't bother splashing out in this window, history and stats suggest we're already down, to be honest I think we are I can't see us escaping this, too many wholesale changes are needed and we know that never works, I'd just go for one or two players who would improve the squad but not waste £10 million on someone just to go down and end up with an unwanted player we won't be able to shift, E.G Remy at QPR.

Best thing we can do is bite the bullet an admit defeat, and prepare for next season in the championship.
