Nalis Posted 4 December 2014 Posted 4 December 2014 On the scale of **** all to **** yes, what's the likelihood of getting tickets for this on general sale. Blinding thinking that high tickets prices + midweek fixtures = more chance of getting tickets.

Blinding thinking that high tickets prices + midweek fixtures = more chance of getting tickets. We're apparently in the lowest category at Arsenal meaning the tickets are about £25-30Well, they were for Cardiff, Palace and Hull last year.
Fox92 Posted 4 December 2014 Posted 4 December 2014 Despite it being midweek, I can still imagine us selling plenty. First visit after all.
LCFC Rennie Posted 4 December 2014 Posted 4 December 2014 Probably depends on how well we are doing nearer the time. If were still bottom, the part-timers won't go and it might go to general sale.
Banks Posted 4 December 2014 Posted 4 December 2014 I'll be going to this as long as prices are reasonable.
Dan Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 I'd imagine we'll be the lowest category mainly due to the fact we're not one of the bigger clubs and due to it being midweek. I do however fancy us to take the full 3,000 here.
Unabomber Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 I'm on my phone just foxestalk and tinder lad
ScouseFox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 that's fair maybe one day they'll make phones that can google and the world will be a better place it's on tues feb 10th btw
Footballwipe Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Southampton were a category C and paid £26 for their tickets. Who'd have thought West Ham and Arsenal would be two of the lowest ticket prices we'd pay this season?

ousefox Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 I can get the underground back to Kings Cross for 22.25 can't I?
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 I can get the underground back to Kings Cross for 22.25 can't I? Definitely, only takes 5 mins on the tube game will finish about 9:30
ousefox Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Definitely, only takes 5 mins on the tube game will finish about 9:30 Last time I went to the emirates the queues were mad so we went to the pub - that's my main worry
Soup Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I can get the underground back to Kings Cross for 22.25 can't I? If you leave on the whistle I'd say your pushing it,leaving early is still horrendous as 10 thousand will also do the same.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I'm looking for a spare reference for this if anyone is feeling generous
promised land Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If you leave on the whistle I'd say your pushing it,leaving early is still horrendous as 10 thousand will also do the same. Don't they close Arsenal station when it gets too busy as well, so then you've got to walk upto Finsbury Park? Been to the Emirates Cup a few times and at final whistle outside fans are literally running for the station, the problem as well is the away end is the wrong end for the station but get your skates on and leg it I'd reckon you'd get in before the massive queues.

I've not been in a while but Arsenal station was always open on CL nights.
Bert Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 I've not been in a while but Arsenal station was always open on CL nights.Holloway Road gets closed which is the closest. The queues for Highbury station are quite bad.
Soup Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Holloway Road gets closed which is the closest. The queues for Highbury station are quite bad. I'm pretty sure that Arsenal station is the closest, they never used to close any of them that wouldn't make sense, but I could be wrong Bert.Saying that I might be getting Holloway Rd confused with Finsbury Park.
Alexikokopops Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Arsenal is my local ground so it would be grand if I could get tickets for this one. I can be home by half 10! I'm pretty sure that Arsenal station is the closest, they never used to close any of them that wouldn't make sense, but I could be wrong bert. Arsenal is the closest. Finsbury Park is pretty close. There's no entry to Holloway Road 2 hours after a match. If anyone wants to get back to Kings Cross then I'd go for Finsbury Park. It's the Victoria line so one less stop and from experience (I say experience, I've only been about 3 or 4 times!) is less rammed than Arsenal. Plus there's the National Rail services from Finsbury Park to King's Cross as well as the Victoria Line. I wouldn't bother with Highbury & Islington or Caledonian Road - they're the stops after Finsbury Park and Arsenal (respectively, if you're heading to King's Cross) so will be rammed. You can walk to King's Cross in 45 minutes if you want to avoid the tubes. A 22:25 train is going to be tight either way. Oh, and you can use contactless debit/credit cards on the tube and it costs the same as an Oyster. Much cheaper than getting a day travelcard.
LCFC Rennie Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Gonna skive off university for this and go down in the morning and be on the piss all day.
