IF by some miracle we get anything from this game, it will be purely down to Man City playing awfully and lady luck well and truly sitting on our face. I will be furious if we get trounced because of another clueless unacceptable display. If we are going to lose, I want to see us going down with a fight.

We have looked an utter shambles and we are making ourselves look like an embarrassment to other clubs. The defending in the QPR game verged on Sunday league. I don't mind losing to Man City, but I want to see a performance worth being proud of. No rolling over and making stupid mistakes.

I think this might be the week to play albrighton and knockeart as mahrez and schlupp have been woeful past few weeks. And also start vardy as he will trouble there defence by running in behind man citys back line and cause problems. Have got to play cambiasso as a defensive midfielder as his positioning and ball distribution out to the wings will be vital.

I would have proberly have said put upson in for this match but he has just said that he is still mot fit enough for a first team start so went with moore for abit of speed in the centre of defence as I think we have looked very slow and have been caught out with counter attacks quite a bit this season.

 

as long as we don't give away any free kicks or corners then we should be alright as we cant defend them and man city have got a number of class set piece artists.

I can't be the only person who thinks Cambiasso's defensive contributions have been the worst part of his game? People just wander past him. A massive problem during the Aston Villa match is that we don't seem to have anybody capable of winning back possession. We gifted the ball to them repeatedly and only got it back when they made a mistake.

What games have you been watching? If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have even scored against Villa or Liverpool. For me he's been the only player who looks capable of creating a goal when he's on the ball. Lose him, and we lose any attacking threat

He's a winger so his primary job is to create chances and attack his full back. I have never ever seen him sit down and wave his arms about at the ref. What are you talking about?

Another case of a supporter believing another player (Albrighton) is a better option despite the fact he's barely played for us. What are you judging it on?!

i never said he was better what I said was it might be the week. and when albrighton was playing pre season he was great and linked up well with de laet and when has come on in premier league games he has done defensive work aswell as attack. I just think it would be a good game for albrighton to start in and bring mahrez on for final half hour if things not working out.

With Man City playing 3 days previous they are bound to be physically and mentally tired, I think it's important that we try and get at them from the off and create an atmosphere. Too often recently we've let teams have early possession.

 

If NP goes with 442 for this game you'll easily be able to spot me in the stand, as I'll be the one with his scarf over his eyes and his head in his hands.

He's not even decent, just the best of a bad situation.

You mean the same one who did a very decent job at the start of the season and was very unfortunate to be taken out of the side

We've done pretty well against the big teams so far this season. I reckon Pearson will use the same system as Chelsea away and Arsenal at home. Defend deep and get Schlupp and Mahrez forward quickly on the counter.

 

However, we will probably lose 0-2
