cjslcfc Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 It might affect the result because Mangala is dogshit. If we can find the real Jamie Vardy in time for Saturday he could give him a tough time I don't rate Mangala at all. They paid around £32 million for him as well! Can't believe someone like him goes for that sort of fee! He's prone to clumsy challenges and was a walking red card the game he got sent off the other day. Despite being on a yellow he continued to foul and dive into challenges. I know it sounds silly but we could really target him and if Kompany weren't to play it would be perfect.
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Fans on football forums do tend to discuss their ideas about players and formations. It’s kind of what the forum is for. Do you have an opinion cos your post is just empty space. For me, if we could stop playing a formation abandoned by most Premiership sides around 20 years ago it would be a start. Nothing more or less. No-one is saying it would ‘solve everything’. I just want us to stop losing every game. At this rate, the opposition fans will soon join in the “one Nigel Pearson” chants if he continues to make life so easy for them. This... I simply don't get it. So many Prem teams will chuck in a DM (in some formation) for games where it is likely they will be on the backfoot. Hell, some even do it when at home! They've been doing it for ages. Very very few sides will go 4-4-2 with box to box midfielders when away from home. Especially when one of them is 34 and past his best. It's suicidal... Everton with Barry West Ham with Song Chelsea with Matic Man U with Blind Southampton with Wanyama Man City with Fernando Sunderland with Cattermole Liverpool with Gerrard last season, now Lucas Palace with Jedinak I'm sure there's more. This is the biggest criticism I have of Pearson..sometimes i don't get his tactics. Like playing Kane out on the wing in a 4-3-3. I never got that.
Dan Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Leicester play good, man city play bad. If that's to respective form then that'll still result in a 0-3. If it turns out Schlupp is LB and Navas tears him a new one I will hold my hands up and admit I over-estimated his physical and defensive ability. I did say Tadic would make mincemeat of him but he never really did. You never know. I don't think we have a reliable full back.

maynefox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 1v4 Man City ... I'm optimistic that we might score a late consolation
Ganty_2000 Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Just for fun I'm going for a 2-1 win. Man City don't do that well on short rest (QPR and West Ham). He's going to have to go with his very strongest team tomorrow night against Roma and will be forced to rest some players for Saturday. Galvanized...we race out to a 2-0 lead and then cling on for 75 minutes. Everything starts to get better after that.
Dan Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 I honestly think it's the best time to play them. Missing their best players and three days after a very tough away game in Europe. If we were anything like the start of the season I'd fancy us to sneak it.
Leicesterpool Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 So Augero out for six weeks then! well that's something at least.
Donut Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Theyll absolutely target this game as must win. Theyll do a professional job and win, there wont be any room for a slip up from Man City for me.
Master Fox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Not sure how anyone can be excited for this game? After travelling to Villa on Sunday I'll be ignoring all of our games now until the end of the season.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 So Augero out for six weeks then! well that's something at least. With our complete inability to defend crosses the last person I wanted to see in the starting line up is Dzeko.

sylofox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Play the U21's could not be any worse. At least they know how to cross a ball. If they get beat 8 - 0 at least we can say it was not the first team. Some pride at least. Play the U21's could not be any worse. At least they know how to cross a ball. Unabomber Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 More importantly where is everyone boozing pre demolition?
DanTheFox07 Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 like other's have said, it is the right time to play them with Aguero out! I would have said if nugent is fit then let him mark yaya, try and frustrate them. But they are a quality side I would take a draw atm they way we have been playing.
Soar Fox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 It might affect the result because Mangala is dogshit. If we can find the real Jamie Vardy in time for Saturday he could give him a tough time Running round like a headless chicken for 90 minutes isn't not good enough in this league. He's had one good game all season.
Leicesterpool Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 5-4-1 Kasper Simpson Morgan Moore Wasilewski Schlupp Cambiasso Drinkwater James King Ulloa Bench: Hamer, Knockaert, Mahrez, Konchesky, Vardy, Nugent & Powell.
Dickov22 Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Running round like a headless chicken for 90 minutes isn't not good enough in this league. He's had one good game all season. Slightly unfair. Had a decent game against Palace, and Burnley. Also worked exceptionally hard at Southampton. And not to mention being a better striker than Austin and Ings (arguably) last season. Not bad
veezeeblue Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 More importantly where is everyone boozing pre demolition? finally a serious comment F Bar cus that where I went before ManU game retracing my steps carefully
Dan Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Schmeichel Simpson - Morgan - Wasilewski - Konchesky Cambiasso Drinkwater - James Mahrez - Ulloa - Knockaert
