Sunbury Fox Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 We've just got to back the team he's put out there. This is massive. Feeling v nervous already. Come on you Blues!
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Or isn't 100%. Whatever it is, I don't like the sound of James coming in for him.
Babylon Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Are people incapable of rational thought when it comes to football? If he's 100% fit then it could turn out to be a stupid decision... But he could very well not be 100% and that's why he's on the bench.
The Doctor Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Need at least 2 more Mahrezes Imagine a midfield full of Mahrezes - flair!

Babylon Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Considering what Bruce has spent there, that starting 11 isn't great.

lee7 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 A must win for us! I wouldn't even care if we played shit and scraped a win but anything other than 3 points is not good enough.
Babylon Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Imagine a midfield full of Mahrezes - flair!A stiff breeze and our midfield would all be on the floor!
reynard Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Their starting eleven today is very average but saying that we will still lose. It may be average but ours isn't even that good. Quite how we imagined we would have any chance of staying up with the lack of quality available to us is unimaginable.
The Doctor Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 I just don't get if a player isn't 100% then why is he on the bench. Just drop him altogether. They could be fit enough to make an impact, just not to start...
Gary Eatfood Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Who's on the bench? 2 de Laet 4 Drinkwater 7 Hammond 18 Moore 24 Knockaert 31 Smith 39 Wood
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Considering what Bruce has spent there, that starting 11 isn't great. Most of them are injured. Snodgrass is out for 10 months,
Will1981 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Hull City 01 McGregor 02 Rosenior 04 Bruce 06 Davies 29 Quinn 27 Elmohamady 14 Livermore 07 Meyler 11 Brady 24 Aluko 25 Ramírez Substitutes03 Figueroa 09 Hernández 12 Maguire 18 Jelavic 20 Sagbo 22 Harper 23 Ince strange team no strikers in starting line up
ealingfox Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 It's incredible how doggo we are tbh. Look at that Hull side, utter shite yet they'll beat us comfortably.
Bettsj2 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Are people incapable of rational thought when it comes to football? If he's 100% fit then it could turn out to be a stupid decision... But he could very well not be 100% and that's why he's on the bench. But no official reports have said he's not 100% so we have to assume he is (you often say yourself you should only comment on fact and not speculation so this should be no different) Pearson and his staff are well known not to put anyone in the team or on the bench unless they are 100% capable to play. Drinkwater was used to playing games in quick succession last year so should be capable of playing today unless of course he is in fact carrying a knock but if so, shouldnt be on the bench. With such a busy period I can understand rotation, but James and Drinkwater finally looked good together against Spurs so to not see them start together is disappointing to say the least.
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 How Konchesky continues to get a game I just can't work out. Dropping Drinkwater ..... he must have got a knock. Even Pearson can't be that thick can he? It doesn't look a winning team selection in all honesty.
Guest Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Imagine a midfield full of Mahrezes - flair! But we'd let in a few.
The Doctor Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 But we'd let in a few. You score 11, we'll score 12. Only way we're going to win matches with our defence.
kingfox Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 If we win then it doesn't matter, but first thoughts on Cambiasso for Drinky is ludicrous. But that Hull line up looks shit, Aluko as a lone striker surely can't trouble us.
katieakita Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Lets hope we get something today and come 5 o,clock we have something to cheer
NeilLCFC Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Wtf has Drinkwater been dropped?! It's these stupid decision that got us into this mess in the first place! Win or loose today, for the first time I'm starting to think Pearson might need to go.

No official have reports have said he is or isn't . So why are you assuming anything? I've commented on both potentials, bad idea if he's 100% but I appreciate there could be circumstances that dictate it. So I'm not going to slate the management on what could potentially be a bad idea until I know their reasoning.
