The Doctor Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Wtf has Drinkwater been dropped?! It's these stupid decision that got us into this mess in the first place! Win or loose today, for the first time I'm starting to think Pearson might need to go. So, even if that decision shows to be inspired and we win 2-0 with James and cambiasso scoring, dropping drinkwater is unacceptable? The mind boggles...

ealingfox Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 So, even if that decision shows to be inspired and we win 2-0 with James and cambiasso scoring, dropping drinkwater is unacceptable? The mind boggles... James scoring? I'll have whatever you're on please.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Score prediction I'm sadly going to say 2-3 Hull :xmassad:
Stevosevic Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 It's incredible how doggo we are tbh. Look at that Hull side, utter shite yet they'll beat us comfortably. This
Stadt Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 I don't think any spelling mistake frustrates me more than 'loose' What a looser
Rincewind Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 It could be worse. Neil Warnock is available so could be a swap after today. This is why it is a must win game.
MooseBreath Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 If Drinkwater isn't fit to start then I dread to think what kind of state the likes of Morgan and Konchesky are going to be in. Squad rotation is all well and good but limiting it to the central midfield only is a bit weird, especially when your central midfield has just had a good game. Can't help but suspect that Cambiasso might have initiated this. Drop me for spurs boss and bring me back in for Hull. Yes sir no problem sir whatever you say Mr Cambiasso sir.
lgfualol Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 If we win then it doesn't matter, but first thoughts on Cambiasso for Drinky is ludicrous. But that Hull line up looks shit, Aluko as a lone striker surely can't trouble us. Until Morgan falls over his own feet and gives him an open goal
Guest LCFC_World Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Team selection looks decent. Looking forward to what will be our first win in a long while. Our season is about to start!
iancognito Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 There's very few teams that have or will name an unchanged team today. I'm surprised it's only one change and honestly drinkwater wasn't brilliant against Spurs and hasn't been that special all season. The only surprise it's that it's the winner of Crap Corner Taking 2014 who replaces him. I'm presuming all the people with a sunny outlook have travelled up to Hull today
Babylon Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Until Morgan falls over his own feet and gives him an open goalSad but true. We need to double up on our own defenders at the minute just in case they drop a clanger.
5waller5 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 It's going to show how good our sports science is and if we really are fit having a game against a battling side like Hull. Did anyone else watch the Spurs game this afternoon - the commentator said that in analysis of their games their players ran an average of 3 miles more than most in their games ..... We matched them for fitness i thought ..... so let's see what the effect is today.
Bettsj2 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 What a miserable bunch some of you are. Especially when there's so much to be enthused by. You know what? Lets all just get behind them. 3 points today! COYB!
iancognito Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 What a miserable bunch some of you are. This
5waller5 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 What a miserable bunch some of you are. Really?? I'm astonished at how lightly we're taking this season.
NeilLCFC Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 So, even if that decision shows to be inspired and we win 2-0 with James and cambiasso scoring, dropping drinkwater is unacceptable? The mind boggles...Should we win today I don't think it'll be down to a masterstokre by Pearson and his team selection - we've seen tinkering hasnt worked for us and this is just another stupid gamble to take, the team that played Spurs should have been the team we stuck with.If we win today (and I hope to high heaven we do) it'll be more down to playing Hull and probabilities meaning we are due a win sometime soonish, rather then to do with the team selection
reynard Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 If we win then it doesn't matter, but first thoughts on Cambiasso for Drinky is ludicrous. But that Hull line up looks shit, Aluko as a lone striker surely can't trouble us. Let's be honest a team with a three-legged donkey up front would trouble our defence. They just won 3-1 at Sunderland so will be more confident. A 3-1 win is not something I can ever see us managing at the moment.
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 What a miserable bunch some of you are. Probably because we're bottom.
iancognito Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Especially when there's so much to be enthused by. You know what? Lets all just get behind them. 3 points today! COYB! Why not get behind them? No idea if you had the misfortune to experience the class of 94/95 but this season's nothing like as depressing as that one. Be grateful you're not a Forest fan experiencing the Psycho Revolution.
Kitchandro Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 It may be average but ours isn't even that good. Quite how we imagined we would have any chance of staying up with the lack of quality available to us is unimaginable. That doesn't wash, players like Quinn and Brady were nowhere as good as the likes of James & Drinkwater in the Championship. Rosenior, Davies & Bruce weren't as good as Morgan, Moore or De Laet either. They shouldn't be any better than us, if they are it's mismanagement of the current squad, as I've been saying for weeks. How Konchesky continues to get a game I just can't work out. Dropping Drinkwater ..... he must have got a knock. Even Pearson can't be that thick can he? It doesn't look a winning team selection in all honesty. Well we don't have anyone better do we?
iancognito Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Should we win today I don't think it'll be down to a masterstokre by Pearson and his team selection - we've seen tinkering hasnt worked for us and this is just another stupid gamble to take, the team that played Spurs should have been the team we stuck with. If we win today (and I hope to high heaven we do) it'll be more down to playing Hull and probabilities meaning we are due a win sometime soonish, rather then to do with the team selection Because it'd be too much to say, the team selection was spot on, well done boss? If we win 2-1, will you really say "with Drinky playing it would have been 3 or 4"
Kitchandro Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 You score 11, we'll score 12. Only way we're going to win matches with our defence. And yet I fully suspect a very negative away performance as always. The game will most likely be lost after an hour and with 10 minutes to go we'll decide to have a go. That's how most of our away games go anyway.
