Mike the Metal Ed Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 will #91 be our highest numbered player ever? as well as our highest transfer fee? and our record goalscorer in 10 years? what a chap. I think Marcus Bent's 38 would be the highest in the Premier League, Rab Douglas was assigned 41 as an unused substitute in 2007-08. Unless I've forgotten someone, our highest squad number to actually take the field would be Ashley Chambers with number 39, I think Craig King used the same number in 2008-09, too. [/nerd]
tripe Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Google is our good friend. Players may now wear any number (as long as it is unique within their squad) between 1 and 99. To date, the highest number worn by a player in the Premier League is 71, by Manchester City's José Ángel Pozo v Sunderland on 3 December 2014. EDITA: AK 47 would be cool.

StanSP Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Glad he's taken 91. Nice of him to save 90 for me. I already love him so much.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Chris Wood is 39? Know too much about the past, overlook the present. Good call.
MC Prussian Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Who cares what the shirt number is? Those shirts will sell like crazy, we've got a Croatian dependence eager to fly over to see him play for his new club and it's a sign to boost our survival mode. Welcome to Leicester City, Andrej!
kingfox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Good, now let's hope he isn't the next Bosko Balaban.
sylofox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Chris Wood is 39? Explains everything no chance in the prem at that age.
Blanesta Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Good, now let's hope he isn't the next Bosko Balaban. Let's hope he is the next Šuker.
Nalis Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 If true, can we change the title of the thread or are we awaiting confirmation from the OS?
Gary Eatfood Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 No need to worry. The "one" source that has the inside info has confirmed it. Kramaric is a LCFC player. Brilliant. Can't wait to see Krama in action.
MHC Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Great news! Now for Okazaki, Naughton, Corluka and a midfielder and I'll be very happy!
dibbdroid Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 The HO will tick any box they are told to. All they care about is that it's not there decision. Football aka Money takes the decision out of their hands effectively! OK, nice one
Jace Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 The home office will issue the permit but they won't be interested in any decision making they rely on that for the FA, he's going to be a Leicester player
Socks Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Finally! Lets hope hes what weve been missing up front. The villa game showed that Him and Ulloa up front xxx Lets hope he dont do a Wood ;-)
