Mjeb Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Surely , we are not going to let Liam Moore leave / go out on loan ?????? He will only get better , and I think we need his pace in the team at the moment , still can't believe we did not get CB in the summer with pace which we lack at the back in the middle . I can't see Nige letting this happen Hope it's just paper talk We can win tomorrow 2 - 0
Carlos88LCFC Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Highly doubt this. He played well against Newcastle and he is the only CB we have with pace.
EnderbyFox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 If we bring a CB in then I can see him leaving on loan, he wont be sold though imo. He won't be getting in the team over Wasyl with how he's playing at the minute and Wes is captain so I can't see him being dropped either.
Tommy G Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I think he thinks and other people think hes better than he is. Might have a bit of pace but positioning is more important. Look at the Villa goal away, just terrible. he will be a good player but championship is his level for the time being. Best to loan out.
MrSpaM Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 He's not good enough to be starting in the premiership every week, at least not at the moment. Premiership CB's need experience, which is why he'll never start ahead of Wes and Was unless either of them get injured. If Upson was fit for more than 20 minutes a season Liam wouldnt even be making the bench.
Dan Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I think he thinks and other people think hes better than he is. Might have a bit of pace but positioning is more important. Look at the Villa goal away, just terrible. he will be a good player but championship is his level for the time being. Best to loan out. Agree with this completely.
Jace Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 He just needs more experience can't expect him to become a complete defender without more. Great potential
lcfcbobby Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 what paper was this in??? I cant see this happening to be honest!!! would like to see him playing more often to be honest
Bert Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Highly doubt this. He played well against Newcastle and he is the only CB we have with pace. Is he?
Nod.E Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Heard from a mate who has good contacts within the club that there has been a fallout.Moore was apparently told by NP he won't be playing PL football for a while due to a problem with his attitude. All stems to the Liverpool game when he was going to be coming on but got sent back to the bench when Morgan was sent off.
westernpark Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Technically below par, positioning lacks any intellingence, but he has pace and a fearless attitude when it comes to blocking shots. To summarise , he's a bit average.
kingfox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 He has the quality though and he is capable, if he can start performing like he did at the start of the season, then there will be no need to loan him out. He was back to his best against Newcastle last week, most dominant performance I've seen from a Leicester centre back in a while, he was that good. Yet again though it all comes down to consistency, and he needs that in his game right now.

SecretPro Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Don't particularly rate Moore, Wouldn't say he was premier league standard however it could just be a complete lack of organisation at the back making him look a bit poo.
Nod.E Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 What when we decided not to bring him on because he was on 4 bookings! Was that the reason? Either way, it seems Moore didn't like it and Pearson wasn't a fan of the way he reacted.
Fox92 Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 What's the thing about us overrating players? First Drinkwater, then Knockaert, now Moore? Give the lad a chance, he's 21 and played a handful of Premier League games. Of course he isn't going to look "Premier League class" (whatever that is) yet. He constantly gets picked for England under-21s, so he must have something. A loan maybe a good move for him, but I wouldn't want him to be sold.

All stems to the Liverpool game when he was going to be coming on but got sent back to the bench when Morgan was sent off. Well that's a load of bollocks. The reason he didn't come on against Liverpool was because he was one yellow away from a suspension and if he'd have got booked We'd have gone into the villa game with only one recognised centre half.
MattGamble92 Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 He was dropped after the Swansea game for costing us both goals, certainly the 2nd one even though sky didn't pick up on this with their shit punditry. I think that made Pearson say enough was enough and he's very out of his depth at this level, at the moment. The rest of the season out on loan in the championship won't hurt anyone if we can get sufficient cover.
L1wood Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Loan him out to a top championship club . No doubt about his talent & potential but the premier league has come 1/2 seasons too early
Silverdaz Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Highly doubt this. He played well against Newcastle and he is the only CB we have with pace. apart from Was ( see another thread)
Richard Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Pearson said in an interview that he didn't come on against Liverpool because Steve Walsh reminded him that he's on 4 bookings and with Wes having been sent off we could've been down to just Wasyl as a centre half for the next game, nothing to do with any fallout. If NP feels that Liam's attitude is poor then I have no problem with him being dropped, we're a better side at the moment without him anyway and that's not likely to change if he does have an attitude problem.
Stadt Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 He's not even quick, gets caught out in the air, he loses his man too often. There's too many flaws in his game to make him a decent premiership centre half.
shailen Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 What happened to him and Wes looking so solid at the start of the season. In particular I remember the Chelsea game where they looked immense. I think Morgan looks better with Moore in the side, and his ability on the ball makes him a better choice than Was imo. Anyway we have three CBs atm, he isnt going anywhere
Buzzell Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 I wouldn't mind seeing him being sent out on loan if we get in a replacement.
