Guest Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Didn't know you had such a rivalry with them.... We don't.
ian_marshall Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Looked like something was kicking off by the Villa buses after the game. About 30 coppers went running off behind the coaches. Don't know what was happening as I couldn't see much but it appeared that the trouble was moving inbetween the coaches.
Larry_LCFC Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Anyone that goes to a football match looking for trouble isn't a football fan, they are a disgrace. Can people not just go and enjoy the day and have some friendly banter with the away fans without trying to cave each others faces in. They are just burberry sporting chavs with a distinct lack of brain cells. Pathetic.

walkerleeds Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Always hated Villa fans, remember a load of them starting on me and my Dad for no reason in the cup a few years ago. Hope they got what they deserve today.
Larry_LCFC Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 But you see, they are, they do like football, they just also happen to like fighting Why would villa fans be fighting in random pubs at 15:30 if they were here for the football? http://www.itv.com/news/central/story/2015-01-10/football-related-fight-in-leicester-city-centre/

Why do people leave early if they're here for the football? Why do people get drunk if they're here for the football?
Narborough_fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 There looked like there was something happening in the car park of the Citroen dealership after the game. Saw police go in there and around the back towards Symphony Rooms.

Charl91 Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 The thing is most of the 'old school' come out for the bigs games all stone island up yet when it comes to it shut themselves,I was a prominent member of the ybs when we started it up,was always us young lot Avin a row,we were game as ****,hear the young lot now are(I'm 30) and av mrs and kids and don't bother anymore, pisses me off that you get the so called old school sitting in family stand with the kids in the s.i gear, yet when push comes to shove and it's gonna kick off say 'av got me kids',that's well and fine but then don't wear the clobber to say your a lad if your a has been, most so called lads ain't even as a row, gaur enter that out of 50 lads(hate it when folk say there was 200 there today)only a dozen tops will av it,the rest **** off back to the tavern and av the cheek to say they've just 'had it'!
Raj Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Villa fans are very underated for being scum. Suprised they Dont get more criticism.
Ross-Kemp Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 King Richard is on high cross street Ash, next to the Casino.

Why do people leave early if they're here for the football? Why do people get drunk if they're here for the football? Not really very good comparisons though are they? Its a bit different travelling from another city on a matchday, just to then sit in the town centre and fight, instead of actually going to the football. That says to me they travel just to find trouble, rather than travelling to support the team. The police clearly knew it was going to happen, hence the S.60 powers and the large west mids police presence.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Villa away in the cup in the relegation season was probably the only time I've felt a bit uneasy at a match. They seemed quite game

Sir Fynwy Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 What ?. The entry criteria for YBS was an IQ lower than a police dog.
Ashley Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 The entry criteria for YBS was an IQ lower than a police dog. Without agreeing to football hooliganism etc a lot of hooligans have very well paid jobs some lawyers etc but they like fighting.. but I guess that makes the iq lower...
AnotherShitSeason Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 People like Larry_LCFC may as well not comment on threads like this though. They are clearly are so far removed from the subject matter there's just no point having an opinion. Far far off the mark.
Fiume Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Surprised to hear this, when was the last time something like this happened ? Does it happen often, or was this like a one time thing ?

theessexfox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Surprised to hear this, when was the last time something like this happened ? Does it happen often, or was this like a one time thing ? Personally I saw fights after Man City and West Brom this season.

EnglishOxide Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Anyone that goes to a football match looking for trouble isn't a football fan, they are a disgrace. Can people not just go and enjoy the day and have some friendly banter with the away fans without trying to cave each others faces in. They are just burberry sporting chavs with a distinct lack of brain cells. Pathetic. Nice generalisation there mate. Friendly banter doesn't exist when some teams come to town. Deal with it. For the most part those who want a fight only go for the opposition who want a fight. If a City fan goes up to the Villa coaches and gives it the big un whilst emotions are quite clearly high then he can have no complaints if a bunch of them try to chin him. That's how these things start and escalate. Nobody is particularly thick or chavvy. Away from the ground sure, you may be right, but they are not harming anybody and should just be left for the police to deal with instead of people like you looking down their nose at them like scum.
Arkie Bennett Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 As I walked past The Newarke on Western Boulevard at about 1:20 there were around 50-60 Villa fans striding purposefully in the opposite direction, towards the city centre, not on my side of the road, thankfully. The police had obviously just become aware of them as there suddenly appeared vans and cars with blue lights flashing, and countless police officers quite keen to marshal them.
