Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 2-2 for me. Think we will start well then fade, Aussies to win the last 2 to retain.
Guest MattP Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Come on then boys. I'm also going for 2-2 as well, home advantage is still huge. People forget the convicts haven't won here for 15 years.
leicsmac Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I'm an optimist, so I think we'll actually turn them over. 2-1 England in a similar battle to 2005 and 2009.
Voll Blau Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Hope Rashid gets the nod today. Don't see it though sadly.
Captain... Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Think Ali asked to play for Worcs to get some form back and bowl plenty of overs. But does that mean the other players haven't been playing since the end of the New Zealand tests? That's a long time, surely they should have had some preparation matches or been playing for their county.
ramboacdc Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 gone for england to win the test and the series. a fool and his money eh?
Bobby Hundreds Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Think Australia will retain, so 2-2. Would be surprised if there were 5 results. Just hoping for a competitive England, a few Ashes debutants in the squad.
leicsmac Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Lyth in playing across the line shocker. Would still stick with him though and get him to sort out his fvcking footwork.
EastAnglianFox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Horrible pitch! Is this just about Glamorgan making sure they get 5 days worth of gate receipts?
leicsmac Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Aussies lacking accuracy here. There's runs to be made.
TheSomersetFox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 we scored any runs infront of square yet? Cook going at a good rate here, nice to see him with a good start this early.
Ross-Kemp Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Horrible pitch! Is this just about Glamorgan making sure they get 5 days worth of gate receipts?Yep, thought that 1st thing, far too much grass.Estimated that 5 days will bring £25 million into Cardiff!
Simmo86 Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 BBC Sport live text is hilarious when England are doing badly.
surrifox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 BBC Sport live text is hilarious when England are doing badly. yes it's great - I'm afraid I agree with the "Bell out" sentiments though and would have sacked him off a few series ago
TheSomersetFox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Bell out, but who in? Think the obvious replacement would be Bairstow, but i'm still baffled as to why James Vince still isn't being given a go, when players like Robson and Jordan have been chucked in to the team over the last year or so. Still don't think Bell will be dropped regardless though.
surrifox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Bell out, but who in? I thought they might have had a look at Vince (Hampshire) but have not taken the opportunity to do so- I cannot believe that either Taylor or Bairstow aren't better propositions than Bell
