Cricket 2015

Probably the best day's cricket I've been at since the Sunday at Trent Bridge in 2005. Jimmy Anderson is absolute money.

Once we break through the Rogers-Smith axis this Australian batting side is dog turd.

Absolutely brutal deliveries from Johnson there, still enough batting to get a lead of 100+, just don't let Johnson rip through us...

This is where I used to think Buttler would be able to come in and take the game away from teams, but he has been very tentative and cautious this summer.

It doesn't help that we lost 2 quick wickets, but he came in with the ball 40 overs old, already got a first innings lead, partner in good form and scoring freely and he just goes on the defensive. He is such an explosive batsman, so I don't understand why he has goes so far into his shell in the tests.

lyon again. good job he hasnt bowled for more than over at a time, would be all out by now!

not even out. dont quite know why we didnt review it. had 2 left and only the tail to come. brainless

Fvcks sake, you get a massive let off on a poor defensive shot, so you repeat the trick next ball and get out.

Why didn't you review it you fvcking idiot!!!

2 reviews, no batsman left just fvcking review it.

I was looking forward to today, but now I'm just pissed off!

If anything Buttler is too reticent when playing Tests, seems to go into his shell too much and not play his natural game when he would be better off just playing the way he knows how, especially given the situation here.

Moeen needs to come in before Buttler in the batting

Buttler needs to go out and bat like it's a one dayer. The situation was perfect for some good aggressive stroke play and he got himself in all kinds of trouble playing weak defensive shots. In an ODI or T20 he would have been smashing Lyon around the ground.

bloody love moeen. can look like a no.11 batsmen for 5 deliveries and play a gorgeous shot for 4 off the last. best thing is australians will be watching this and wondering how he he is still there

Good to see Broad back in the runs and looking to play positive, it's a real asset to have someone come in at 9 with his ability with the bat.

Can't knock a 140 lead, lets see how many more we can add.

Crazy Test match, but thoroughly entertaining for saying there's not been a great deal of runs.

Love to get Smith soon here! Hopefully Broady can make him Test wicket number 300.
