RowlattsFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 These two should just play their shots now and save some momentum. Game is lost now so no point just waiting to get out.
Corky Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I agree, try and entertain the crowd. The damage has been done yet again by the top order failing.
FrankieADZ Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 anyone else think England need to make changes for the next test?
Swarles Barkley Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 stokes you fvcking dipshit. utter jokes the lot of em
leicsmac Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Not sure wholesale changes are the answer, but I think swapping out one of Bell and Lyth has to at least be somewhere on the agenda.
martyn Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Trouble is, we haven't got anyone on the county circuit scoring heavily except Bairstow. Lyth doesn't look up to it, but think Hales would quickly get worked over too. Still, he couldn't do worse and he would at least get a right handed into the top 3 to break up the Aussie rhythms a bit. Could drop a batsman to get Rashid in and move Moeen up the order.
RowlattsFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I think they'll get one more test. All the batsmen apart from cook need to play for their counties next week to get this out the system and hopefully regain a bit of confidence. But I bet they won't.

RowlattsFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Such a nothing delivery that one, almost looked like he wanted to get out.
RowlattsFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 This should be funny watching broad bat, he's terrified of the short ball. It's like we've been playing on two different pitches.
katieakita Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 My sons wanted to take me today as a father's day present, glad I talked them out of it.
ealingfox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 What an absolute disgrace they've been today. Truly embarrassing. Feel desperately sorry for all the England fans who have paid to watch today. They should all be getting refunds out of the England players' pockets on the way out.
CKB Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Pathetic from England, we have zero belief when things are not going for us and it seems to much for certain players Lyth was a failure must go Ballance is good but lacks confidence Bell must go Ali is not a spinner, shows promise though as a batsman Stokes, Root, Cook, Ali all start for me in the next test but as for the other batsmen? well you can't just completely overhaul but Lyth and Bell would be dropped
FrankieADZ Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 well that was over quick, i wonder what utter tripe Cook will come out with now,
CKB Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 well that was over quick, i wonder what utter tripe Cook will come out with now, The usual nicey nice bullcrap
RowlattsFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Bowling attack not good enough either, although back to back tests clearly not done us any favours in that department. Cricket is a fickle sport but I can't see a recovery from this.

Cricket is a fickle sport but I can't see a recovery from this. Johnson seems back to his normal self, our batsmen seem totally scared when he bowls. I can see a recovery but we have to get tougher mentally Also as for the bowling department you make a good point and it clearly showed with Wood who is meant to be a high 80mph bowler hitting 90/91 at times but he couldn't even get above 82, his fastest ball was 86 I think
