Terry Robinson was sacked for summer window disaster

WHO GETS SACKED FOR THIS WINTER WINDOW MESS ???

this is not how you survive in the premier league

HUTH on loan and KRAMARIC ....really that's it ????

What a let down

Someone at the club needs to explain how sending just £20m (nearly all on two players unproven in league) was expected to be enough to keep a championship squad in the premiership

NOW we know why Pearson is so secure ....he is towing the party line

I think the owner of the club is being hoodwinked by the execs to focus on profit over investment

Maybe big profit related bonuses in certain non playing staff contracts is driving this miserable spending

Fook were doomed ... But in reality we all knew that eating our Turkey Christmas Day

Feel sorry for the owner and his monks , poor man has obviously no real say , he wants Europe

His execs and manager delivering Championship .......

You're a ****ing moron with no brain cells.

its all well and good saying that its hard to sign players but answer this, if we'd have done some proper business instead of investing in players that have never stepped foot into a half decent league we wouldnt be in the position we are now and we'd of been able to attract players with ease, yeah i know terry robinson seemed to be blamed for it, he was sacked, january comes around, oh yet again we've invested in practically the equivalent to a league 1 top scorer and a center back who has been added to the loan list because he simply isnt good enough, great way to make it look like we're actually making an effort to stay up. blame the people above pearson and his staff as much as you want but it seems after all pearson and his staff just dont seem to know how to manage in this league.

another thing if we had a better more known manager who has managed teams in this league such as pulis etc , then we would have more than likely attracted more players, pearson doesnt strike me as a manager i'd wanna play for especially with his arrogance and god awful team selection which clearly he seems to be doing to prove a point. another thing he wants to be respected and expects his fans to support him? not gonna happen when you insult fans for voicing their opinions no matter how it had been said he should not have replied in that way, he refuses to speak to bbc radio leicester which is where our fan base goes to first to ask questions and find out news to do with this club, what kind of pathetic guy does that and expects the fans to still be happy with him and back him, good sportsmanship really shows how to handle a club well

pearson out

start again fresh with a manager who knows what hes doing and will get us back up there

This lad's a bright one ....well said Connor

I'll let you know at the end of the season, not before I've actually seen them play a few games.

At the end of the season you'll be defending Pearson whether we get relegated or not, let's be honest.

lol

Anyone with half a brain cell would realize that when you are bottom of the league, then it doesn't matter how good your director of football is, decent players just don't want to join you.

you just cant fix stupid...

I'd back him, he has done pretty well at that level for us, why would we want to change?

Are you 100% sure that was why Robinson was sacked ?

No , didn't think so

Now the window is closed, can you confirm the names of any of the players we missed out on? Would be interesting to know who the Fyffes share price would have changed for!

It would seem to me that we have accepted our fate this season. Yes, we are going to run our nuts off to stay up but we are not prepared to break the bank to do so.

It's tricky to apportion blame or lack of ambition, given our poor position in December when January deals are being arranged. We've improved a but but players will only come in jan if relegation clauses are inserted re leaving or staying. Either way, the player will be protected rather than the club and that's the problem we faced.

Please don't quote krama as evidence of our ambition. At best, he will provide the goals to keep us up but we are protected on relegation as he will be sold. our transfer outlay will be around 13 mill nett and add to that new contracts plus wages for the new players and we have probably committed to spend around an extra 40 to 50 million max over the next three years. Our income will be about double that over the period so if we go down ( with pretty well the same team that got us up) we really should be able to cherry pick the best championship players to add to the squad and enable us to bounce back (whilst staying within FFP)

we will never know what would have been possible had we done better business last summer.

Are the owners prepared to invest? Are they taking a dividend to offset their clearance of the debt. Sven spent the money and we just have to make the best of it for the time being. what is clear is that we have do our very best to support the boys in their efforts to stay up!

then we should have spent more before the season started

They will be saying "he can get us out of the league stick with him..."

If we were to go down, who would everyone have who would be a better alternative than Pearson to get us back up?

Boom boom and they have already started the "lucky we have the messiah ....." people forget that in 12/13 he spunked our promotion up the wall

You can in premier league ...sack it and spend big on a better more intelligent model

Who was the last club to do that? QPR. Look what happened to them.

Pretty sure Kramaric was the 10th most expensive signing of this entire window, worldwide, we've spent more money than the vast majority of the Premier League, probably more than over half the league combined (I think), if that doesn't show you January is a difficult window and we've done all we can then, well, no point me carrying this on or trying to reason with people.

I'm so glad we sacked that failure and got someone in who knew what they were doing and masterminded our promotion as champions. I'm also glad we sold all those players who failed so hard in 12/13 and got in a completely new team who went on to be the best team in the division. I'm very glad that short termism won the day and proved that throwing your toys out of your pram after every defeat is a fantastic way to run a football club.

Any of our rivals sign anyone of note??

exactly Big Mick , we wasted a chance to crack on and try and steal a March

Just shows there's no real movement of any players, that being the case I think we could have brought another loan in

To sign players, those players need to be replaced by their parent club and there was no real movement at the top end... or any movement really to start the chain off
