Terry Robinson was sacked for summer window disaster

It seems like a shitty January transfer window for "buyer" clubs in general, and not just in England.

Dunno if it's struck you but this is real life and not Football Manager. It's not as easy as, add to shortlist, make offer, negotiate player and sign him. There's probably many players we've missed out on, many we don't know about, just like there's many poor players we've been linked with and haven't got. Amazing isn't it.

Failure and incompetence is never explained away by it "wasn't easy"

Are you 100% sure that was why Robinson was sacked ?

No , didn't think so

The manager is

I've had a run in with this dropofclaridge before, absolutely nothing wrong with wanting Pearson out imo, or being upset about the way parts of the club is being run, but this bloke is either a wum or a complete moron, I shall not be seeing another post from him, given his aggressive and confrontational style of posting, and its over all idiocy.

Let's wait and see what happens at the end of the season now, yes it's frustrating but you never know we may come good

Fair point , just hacked off

Very true but it's February 2nd, not May 2nd. We're three points off of 17th. It's not all doom and gloom just yet; we're certainly not dead and buried.

I bet karamic was promised improvement of squad while he was signing , so we a get a 40+ goalkeeper and a CB lmao haha what a crap window

One for the development squad.

Sorry , I was actually being a little smart above , not a drop of bad blood , just frustration

Sorry sincerely if your offended by the style

I'll take note

Agreed fair point but these feel like serious battles we are loosing when we are supposed to have oodles of cash

They sacked Terry cos Nige said it was his fault we signed no one in summer

Of course they did... could you prove that though? Because all we have on the matter is Pearson saying he had no problem with him at all.

Was our last chance to strengthen and change things on the pitch. A stop gap keeper, a centre has who has only played five games this year and a foreign striker without Prem experience and will no doubt need a settling in period. Can't see it making much difference to be honest. It may be difficult getting players in the January window but surely nobody can be pleased with this. Wing and a prayer time now!

I'll let you know at the end of the season, not before I've actually seen them play a few games.

Jesus ****ing wept. Get a ****ing grip man! Acting like a child just because we didn't spunk £100m up the wall on players that aren't wanted by another club in a similar position to us. Someone else has said it - this isn't Football Manager.

I had written a massive post about longevity, the transfer window hasn't even closed - and you're saying it's a failure?! Terry Robinson, to my knowledge was sacked by the board - not by Nigel, I doubt very much that Nigel just said: "We're shit? Oh yeah I know. Terry's fault mate."

Try at the end of the season to judge whether this has been a success or not. Not an hour before the window even closes haha. ****ing hell. Absolute disabled.

Have you heard his post match stuff ... I say to mean what you think I should be saying to mean

Look, if we had signed Kram on the final day then we would be raving. We did our business early and have done more than those around us. Can we just get on with it now? I am reasonably happy with the squad. We could be better but you cannot solve all of the problems in Jan.

I'm pleased with it, genuinely.

Ok, and you can judge whether it's a success in 5 hours then? Can you tell me the weekends lottery numbers as well?

I'm pleased with it, genuinely.

Don't speak sense to them, it'll only confuse them.

So sick of the amount of morons on here recently.

Get a grip of your sad lives. Spanner and dropofclaridge have been the worst culprits.

We haven't strengthened enough in either window to make a proper go of it which is disappointing considering our supposed millions. But we have a good chance of winning the FA cup and that would still make this our greatest season ever.

Ask Wigan fans if they would give the cup back and avoid the trip to league one they face next season

But your right a cup win would be immortal time .....

Take that as a complement ....and a lesson

its all well and good saying that its hard to sign players but answer this, if we'd have done some proper business instead of investing in players that have never stepped foot into a half decent league we wouldnt be in the position we are now and we'd of been able to attract players with ease, yeah i know terry robinson seemed to be blamed for it, he was sacked, january comes around, oh yet again we've invested in practically the equivalent to a league 1 top scorer and a center back who has been added to the loan list because he simply isnt good enough, great way to make it look like we're actually making an effort to stay up. blame the people above pearson and his staff as much as you want but it seems after all pearson and his staff just dont seem to know how to manage in this league.

another thing if we had a better more known manager who has managed teams in this league such as pulis etc , then we would have more than likely attracted more players, pearson doesnt strike me as a manager i'd wanna play for especially with his arrogance and god awful team selection which clearly he seems to be doing to prove a point. another thing he wants to be respected and expects his fans to support him? not gonna happen when you insult fans for voicing their opinions no matter how it had been said he should not have replied in that way, he refuses to speak to bbc radio leicester which is where our fan base goes to first to ask questions and find out news to do with this club, what kind of pathetic guy does that and expects the fans to still be happy with him and back him, good sportsmanship really shows how to handle a club well

pearson out

start again fresh with a manager who knows what hes doing and will get us back up there
