AKCJ Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Dyche gets Burnley (a side which has been in the premier league more recently than us) promoted back to the premier league. Their fans recognise it will be difficult...they recognise he has stabilised the club financially...they recognise he is building for the future...they recognise he has the potential to be their manager for years to come... Dyche is (quite rightly) hailed as a messiah. Pearson gets Leicester (a side which has been in League 1 more recently than the Premier League) promoted back to the premier league. Our fans think that because we won the league...we will safely finish mid-table.....they care little for the fact that Pearson has actually been responsible for financially saving the club TWICE, Getting the club promoted TWICE, has a squad with far more youth and potential than any other in our history, has the potential to be our manager until he retires..... We call him an arrogant, clueless ****. And then...to top it all off......Leicester fans want us to hire Eddie Howe. You know...the clueless ****er who was in charge of Burnley before Dyche. In all honesty...the only guy I would take now there is no pearson, is Dyche. I agree with everything until the Eddie Howe bashing. He's comfortable the best young manager in the country.
RonnieTodger Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 If we get Keane, Di Canio or Warnock, I'm not going for a while.
Sly Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Co Adriaanse ... just for his training methods Just for his weird training methods!!
shade Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The clueless howe who signed trippier and danny ings I'll raise you drinkwater, james, mahrez, morgan, wasileski & knockaert.
Benjani Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Tbh i wouldn't mind that latest Watford manager. He looks scary as **** and is doing a great job
Grewks Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The clueless howe who signed trippier and danny ings I agree with everything until the Eddie Howe bashing. He's comfortable the best young manager in the country. Congratulations guys..... How can Eddie Howe be the best young manager in the country, when Dyche could get more out of his signings than he could. What a joke. Howe left Bournemouth and looked clueless.
filbertway Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Klopp! He can leave one relegation battle for another
Dr The Singh Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 FFS, this is a piss take. Although Pearson has done alot of good, but he has failed his latest task, the owners and club have backed him all the way, we've given Pearson just as much as he has given.
Corky Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I hope we get someone who isn't arrogant, listens to the fans, doesn't have favourites, has Plan A to Z, is nice to Stringer and stands around ranting on the touchline showing pashun.
Wonk_V71 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'll do it. Back to back promotions as a player-manager in the Bristol and District League I've taken SC Paderborn to the Champions League final on Football Manager 2008. I must have as good a chance as any of the names mentioned in this thread so far.
Benjani Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'll raise you drinkwater, james, mahrez, morgan, wasileski & knockaert. Ermmmm what? Mahrez is the only good one
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 When Sousa was sacked and replaced by sven the people inside the club knew something was happening some 10 days or so before hand. It's speculation here but with the same owners has something similar happened? Might explain the touchline incident and NP's reaction. I was surprised that when Rednapp left qpr last week Hoddle wasnt given the job, so have the Thai's lined him up? Purely speculating.
fraddonfox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Cambiasso until end of season for me too. Eddie Howe would be a great appointment in the summer. Young ambitious English manager who deserves the opportunity to manage a bigger club. That's if he doesn't get promoted.
fox_favourite Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 A big hell no to Keegan. Completely out of touch with modern football. I say Tim Sherwood. Young manager, who gained respect from the players that played under him. I like the way he conducts himself. I can imagine the players at Leicester will take to him.
foxinsocks Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Hoddle might be looking for birth and likely to follow harry out of qpr - hope he brings Eileen with him

I think that was more to do with Mandaric hoping an exotic manager would appeal more to the Thais.
Dan Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Howe is a waste of breath. He won't be coming here as much as I'd like someone of his mould, and there is someone - Mark Warburton of Brentford. I'd have him here. I'd also rather we took a gamble on someone from Spain/France/Germany or somewhere like that instead of going up the old boys route, you know, the likes of Dowie etc... I'll be amazed if this happens, but what about Gaizka Garitano? He currently manages Eibar in Spain. Eibar play in a ground of 5,000 which kind of gives you an idea of their size, since 2012 he's taken them from the third tier in Spain to 8th in La Liga. That's miraculous. That's like Chesterfield being a midtable Premier League side. It would be a huge gamble as you've got the potential language barrier and different style, but he quite clearly knows how to get a side punching above their weight.
Guest Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 O'Neill, Lennon, Howe, Rowett, Rosler. Happy with any of those. Could probs name 20 or so that would satisfy. Hoping whoever it is can give us a nice boost and keep us competitive until that soft run-in. I desperately want to believe.
AKCJ Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Does Klopp fancy a go in the Prem? Not like he'll be taking a step back in terms of league position Edit; wait they actually won yesterday didn't they? ****. No chance now.
Sly Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Hoddle might be looking for birth and likely to follow harry out of qpr - hope he brings Eileen with him To be fair, we need a miracle.
