Arsenal 2-1 Leicester post match thread

Just seen the goals. Poor goals to concede. Especially the first one. Morgan has had a mare letting Koscielny get ahead of him. So frustrating when we concede such poor goals. Walcotts goal i have a little sympathy for Schwarzer as Ozils shot moved around a fair bit. Id like to think he could have palmed it away from danger but he still got a good block and Walcott was on it in a flash. So pleased for Kramaric getting on the score sheet with a neat finish. Thats certainly a positive to take out the game. Nice for Wenger and Walcott to give us some praise but ultimately its another defeat after playing so well which has been the story of our season.

5-4-1 away from home may well get us some points but would certainly want to be more offensive at home. Hopefully we see Kramaric express himself more now he is off the mark. Still plenty of points to play for so its not over yet. Keep The Faith. COYB

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but, yes Morgan was at fault for losing his man for the 1st goal but why on earth are we not defending with a man on the near post at a corner? That's just asking for trouble

See ManUtd's 2nd goal too, palmed straight into middle of 6yard box for a tap-in

That is incredibly harsh. Left foot shot, low and hard across the keeper, he did well to get down and make the save. Not much at all you can do with those.

I am continually amazed how many goalkeeping coaches we have on FT.

Just seen the highlights and like everyone's been saying we looked fvcking good.  The good people at footytube even gave us a higher rating than Arsenal.  We have to stop playing to the level of the opposition, if we don't cut it out now we will go down.

I thought he looked very ccomfortable with the ball at his feet played a few decent balls and all round looked better than what we've had this season at the back, shame he got injured just hope it isn't long term again as I think him and Huth could form a very good partnership... also he gets massive kudos for a beast of a challenge on sanchez

He came off injured!? Gonna start calling him ''Sick note' Upson soon lol

Went to my first game of the season last night and I honestly thought we was going to get opened up. Morgan looked like he lacked a lot of confidence for some reason, for saying he's skipper it was more like Cambiasso giving the praise and getting behind the players, on a few occasions I spotted Cambiasso having 1 to 1's with players and I imagine that helps no end. I thought Huth mopped up really well also, Upson looked composed - hope the injury doesn't last and only a precaution.

Mahrez was class as was Kramaric, I felt sorry for them both at times, it was them 2 up there against a resilient Arsenal defence. Coquelin swept everything up for them, he must of won a lot of duels last night (not seen any stats)

Keep the faith...

Lets be honest, Upson was shit.

Could quite justifiably have been sent off for that and couldn't stay with any of their players including for their second goal.

Are players not capable of making a tackle that doesnt go over the ball in some way?

That's not honesty that's an opinion.

I say that because there is a tendency on here to overrate players who haven't played much.

G U T T E D!!

Another swashbuckling performance from the foxes with thrills and spills galore.

POSITIVES

MAHREZ - continues to upgrade his bag 'o tricks

KRAMARIC - hardworking throughout the game and could of had a HAT TRICK

KONCHESKY - getting better with age

CAMBIASSO - Playmaker General

JAMES - solid stuff

in fact the whole team were comitted for the full 90 minutes

STILL IN IT

That's true but for someone who hadnt played for 9 months I thought he did OK. Used the ball well and added balance.

In a season of terrible atmospheres from home support, Ospina! was probably the most :nigel: thing I heard all season.

I honestly think that was the most appalling chant I've heard. Reminded me of children in the playground.

good performance again. but net result is still 0 points.

one thing that is getting my back up this season tho.

no not morgans poor performance and marking.

it that the 1st goal came from OUR corner again.

the amount of times we get broke upon from our own set pieces is criminal.

This is so true

Whenever we get a corner, I always crap myself, especially against a team with pace. We have far more chance of conceding because we have a corner than of scoring.
