shade Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 de laet was huth schlupp mahrez james hammond cambiasso albrighton kramaric
Danno Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 How on earth are people choosing knockaert in our best team
Benguin Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 ___________ ...........................................I.......................I..................................................... I I...............I I I KASPER I DE LAET I.........................................I KONCHESKY HUTH WASYL CAMBIASSO ____ _____ _____ MAHREZ _____HAMMOND JAMES_____ ALBRIGHTON _____ 0 _______ ______ KRAMARIC ______ Bench = HAMER, SCHLUPP, UPSON, DRINKWATER, WOOD, NUGENT, ULLOA On some games however I would have Vardy and Knockaert on the bench.
lc4lcfc Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Given the current 5-4-1 formation our best team would probably be: Hamer De laet Huth Was Upson Schlupp Cambiasso James Mahrez Knockaert Kramaric Cases could be made for Hammond vardy and Nugent they would definitely be on the bench. I just think wing backs would be better than out and out full backs as they could support the attack trio. It would also allow mahrez and knockaert to drift inside but also keep width in the attack Given the current 5-4-1 formation our best team would probably be: Hamer De laet Huth Was Upson Schlupp Cambiasso James Mahrez Knockaert Kramaric Cases could be made for Hammond vardy and Nugent they would definitely be on the bench. foxfanazer Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Hamer De Laet Was Huth Schlupp Mahrez James Cambiasso Albrighton Nuge Kramaric
kam6 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Hamer De Laet Wasa HUTH Sclupp Cambiasso Mahrez James Drinky (if he can find his feet again) or Hammond Nugent (or Ullua) Kramaric I would like to see Ullua start with Kramaric as a front two, but Nugent seems to hold the ball up very well when he comes on. Konch has been ok this season, not great, but i think that Schlupp will do a better job at LB as he has done in the past and he has the pace to get back if he does go missing at the top! NP wont drop Morgan, but i think it is time for us to let him "have a rest". Majority of people going with four at the back
David Hankey Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 "Our best team"? One that Pearson hasn't selected yet!!
Tielemans63 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 -------------------------------Schmeichel.----------------------------- ----------------Wasilewski.-----Huth.-----Upson.----------------- --De Laet.---Cambiasso.-----------------James---Schlupp.-- ---------------------------------- Mahrez.----------------------------- ---------------------------Ulloa--------- Kramaric.------------------ That would probably be my choice too. If we're to play at the back then you'd think a wing back pairing of RDL and Schlupp would probably be pretty effective. I've said loads of times in the past that RDL is much better suited to the wing back role than full back. Only change I would make is I'd swap Nuge for Ulloa. Nuge frustrates the hell out of me sometimes but he does a lot of good things and imho there are early signs of a decent partnership with Kram developing
Swiss_tony Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 hamer delaet was huth schlupp hammond james Cambiasso albrighton nugent kram
Danno Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 hamer delaet was huth schlupp hammond james Cambiasso albrighton nugent kram Lmao where is Mahrez
Swiss_tony Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Lmao where is Mahrez he's on the bench. this team is based on current performances. if you want me to pick a different one based on how they played in the first ten games, how they did in the championship, or at a previous club 3 years ago i can do that too.
Unabomber Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 if you want me to pick a different one based on how they played in the first ten games, how they did in the championship, or at a previous club 3 years ago i can do that too. I'd like to see this please tony.

Where's Vardy? He got 2 assists last game.
Swiss_tony Posted 26 February 2015 Posted 26 February 2015 Where's Vardy? He got 2 assists last game. on the bench. impact player.
Dan Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 At the minute? Hamer Wasilewski - Huth - Upson (???) De Laet --------------------------- Schlupp James - Cambiasso Mahrez Ulloa - Kramaric Try that one on the counter.
Benguin Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 on the bench. impact player. Ulloa on current form? I'd sooner have Chris Wood
talking_goldfish Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 At the minute? Hamer Wasilewski - Huth - Upson (???) De Laet --------------------------- Schlupp James - Cambiasso Mahrez Ulloa - Kramaric Try that one on the counter. Exactly this!
Rasmic123 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Hamer De Laet Huth Was Konch James Mahrez Drinky Cambiasso Schlupp Kramaric Wanna see Drinky come back in because he gives us much better presence going forward than james who is simply ****ing useless in the final third. Plus, Drinky and Cambiasso have always linked well when they've played. De Laet needs to come in for Simpson as he is a liability. Morgan and Upson are also liabilities so they're out. A 4-1-4-1 also gives you lots of versatility to change the formation if need be
psychonaut Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 At the minute? Hamer Wasilewski - Huth - Upson (???) De Laet --------------------------- Schlupp James - Cambiasso Mahrez Ulloa - Kramaric Try that one on the counter. This BIG tiiime! Great balance.

Our back 4 was awful, our back 5 looks better, although still potentially suspect.... but you want to go to a back 3? I think we'd be on the receiving end of a the hiding we've not had yet this season. However, the balance is that we could win more games too Personally I think our back 5 is as good an option as there is - although I would swap Simpson for RDL, as I agree with NP that the greater numbers there allows our creative or attacking players to create or attack more, so what on paper looks defensive allows us greater freedoms. We just need Mahrez & co to step up to the plate and take advantage of it!

We just need Mahrez & co to step up to the plate and take advantage of it! It isn't like I'm playing De Laet & Schlupp as wingers. More like wing backs, both of those players have the energy to get up and down, and both attack and defend. With Simpson & Konchesky, you're offering next to nothing going forward. It's like a flat back five. It's probably required, but having those two may even allow us to press the game a bit further up the pitch, taking a bit of pressure off the defenders in the first place. There's a bit more balance as Mahrez is an extra man in midfield, Kramaric has better support and we're still pretty decent out wide. It could backfire but I reckon it wouldn't.
Ollie93 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 For me its; Hamer De Laet Wasilewski - Huth - Upson (???) James - Cambiasso Mahrez Kramaric Schlupp Ulloa/Nugent Offers great presence going forward on the counter, but when defending James and Cambiasso offer protection of the back 4 and Kramaric, Mahrez and Schlupp create that midfield 5.
Guest Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Do I really have to find a 1970's team to post?
