Been a Pearson fan since day one.

Why is out best defender on the bench.

Morgan is shite at this level.

We will loose today.

Had enough of Pearson know.

I don't know if it's hilarious or utterly depressing that i'm the only one with an ounce of positivity.

Fair play to you I think it's all very admirable, just not particularly realistic.

I know right!

I mean what could possibly of happened in the last few months to suck the positivity out of people!

Yeah you're right.

We should just give up shouldn't we?

To be honest, it's utterly depressing. That at this time of the season, most fans are thoroughly fed up with losing.

If we win in style today then you can boast and we're happy to let you. Just can't see that happening though.

Blind faith and realism are two different things

I did, and it was awful. But Everton play a style closer to Arsenal than Aston Villa do. We'll have about 35-40% of the ball today. We'll break with pace which worked at Arsenal and I think it'll work today. It was never going to work against Villa because they won't dominate the game in terms of retaining the ball in dangerous areas.

To say that Everton aren't a strong side is utterly barmy. Have a word.

Burnley play a flat 4-4-2 without real wingers. Whereas we play a front 3 (we've often played a front 4). You can't compare us whatsoever.

Everton play with wingers and two strong full backs - Baines, Coleman - behind them. All they'll do is push our wingers back. Kramaric will be alone, all game, yet again just chasing the ball for 90 minutes.

Hope we play to the standard of our opponents, like we did against Arsenal.

And hope Everton might be tired because they played Thursday.

Kramaric to score, but I'm not confident in our defence

God do you always see things so black and white?

If you had read some of the other threads you will see quite a few posters still believe we can stay up, I haven't given up hope, who knows what will happen from now til May. But your complete dismissal of other posters' genuine complaints and bizarre post about Albrighton's "one good game" is making you seem slightly unhinged!

I don't want to boast. Why would I?

If we win i'll just be happy that some of the depressed will start to turn.

This game is going to be awful.

Everton havent won at home this year so UP STEP LEICESTER CITY!

The perfect team to end such a run.

Right, i'm off to the pub to watch this shit. At least I can get wasted once Everton's 3rd goes in and Wes Morgan is scurrying around on his arse like some overturned crab.

KEEP THE FAITH THOUGH EH?? #innigewetrust

Can't remember Arsenal doing that.

As I posted pre match I can't believe a professional football manager can continue playing Morgan alongside marauding full backs Sinpson/Konchesky in a 5 man defence.

I love how people say everyone in Europe play one striker. That may be true, but the difference is support. With out support, your one striker is useless. He has to run back to try and get the ball forward and is the only one up front.

I haven't seen much support for our line striker with the line up we have.

The formation is fine. We played well against arsenal and villa caused us no threat whatsoever until we changed the formation, after which we collapsed. A better performance from Schlupp and Mahrez, who were both nothing short of appalling, and we would have won. Hopefully we'll get that today.

Can't defend Simpson, Morgan or Schwarzer being in the team though. Schwarzer particularly, just how many mistakes does he have to make to get dropped? It's beyond ridiculous. Expecting a good attacking display ruined by mistakes from the usual suspects.

Woeful line up again.

No chance of a win.

Like everyone eelse, I'm really shocked Simpson, Schwarz and Calamity are still being picked each week.

I feel a bit sorry for Wasilewski.

Apart from that I like this formation because I like Schlupp/Krama/Mahrez having more all-attacking roles.

Comfortable loss though.

'WE ARE ONLY PLAYING 1 STRIKER!' Yeah pretty much every team in this league and in the top European leagues play 1 striker so be quiet you planks.

Those teams aren't bottom of the league and five points away from safety though.

I think people are so pessimistic on here so they'll always be happy at the final whistle:

Win - obviously happy/Pearson got lucky

Draw/loss - told you so! (Smug satisfaction )
