Everton Match Thread

I don't know if it's hilarious or utterly depressing that i'm the only one with an ounce of positivity.

You're not the only one.

Formation worked well against Arsenal and we had the better chances in the game against Villa until we switched to a four.

Who knows, could have an Arsenal performance or a drab Villa performance.

This game is going to be awful.

Everton havent won at home this year so UP STEP LEICESTER CITY!

The perfect team to end such a run.

Right, i'm off to the pub to watch this shit. At least I can get wasted once Everton's 3rd goes in and Wes Morgan is scurrying around on his arse like some overturned crab.

KEEP THE FAITH THOUGH EH?? #innigewetrust

Made me laugh enjoy your pint's !

Can't remember Arsenal doing that.

Arsenal aren't Everton.

You've just told me not to compare Leicester and Burnley and now you've just done it...

God do you always see things so black and white?

If you had read some of the other threads you will see quite a few posters still believe we can stay up, I haven't given up hope, who knows what will happen from now til May. But your complete dismissal of other posters' genuine complaints and bizarre post about Albrighton's "one good game" is making you seem slightly unhinged!

I'm talking about today's game.

I've not seen anyone suggest we'll get anything from it.

Albrighton has only had one really good game. Against Newcastle in the cup.

One cross against Man United (that was atrociously defended) is all he's done since then. He was half decent against Villa but he doesn't get in the team ahead of Schlupp and Mahrez who have played better than he has all season.

3-0 Everton & Pearson gets the sack...at last

Would people take a defeat if it meant the Divine Trainer finally gets his marching orders?

YYYEEEEAAANOOOOOOOOO.

As much as I tried I cant do it. Want him gone but want to win more.

Think yet again we will be overran in midfield, can't believe he doesn't go 3 in middle away from home, especially as Everton like loots of premier teams play 3 in the middle. I fully expect us to have little possesion, keep giving the ball away and await the inevitable defeat. On the plus side it will be one game nearer Pearson's exit.

I think people are so pessimistic on here so they'll always be happy at the final whistle:

Win - obviously happy/Pearson got lucky

Draw/loss - told you so! (Smug satisfaction )

No! It isn't that. I hate us losing. I really despise us losing, puts me in a bad mood. Why should I be smug because we lost?

I want us to win, but losing just breeds negativity.

This is one of the worst things about FoxesTalk these days.

I have no idea how an actual fan can boast about being right about a loss, but you can guarantee there'll be plenty on here at 4 o'clock if it happens.

NP is seriously taking the piss now. Its like he wants us to go down. Simpson, Schwarzer,Morgan, WTF YOU KNOB!!!

THIS x 1000 - should be the Mercury's backpage headline on Monday !!!

Negativity breeds losing for me.

if the players and fans are positive then we have a chance of staying up. If they're not then we might as well start booking hotels for Brentford away.

Come and sit next to me on the Optimistic Bus

The BBC reckon we have James Wasilewski on the bench.

Weso from the halfway line  lol

We're always positive when we get to the ground. Before last weeks game the atmosphere was good and we were singing Pearson's name. The atmosphere only changed to negativity as the game progressed because it was a shit performance.

Glad Schwarzer is still in. Best we have at the moment.

Never understand why I bother reading these threads.

Full of wankers pre-match with absolutely no positivity.

Get a grip.

Yeah that's it, we are being made to look like twats, not from the manager' s incompetance but the negativity on here.

You need to get a grip and deal with the fact Pearson's completely 'gone'. Ie, the job is too much for him and he is not thinking clearly.

And - how rude you are.

Maybe you are the willy puller?

It's not a case of 'I told you so' it's a genuine opinion.

And 9 times out of 10 the genuine opinion percieved as pessimism turns out to be correct, i've said many times when being 'pessimistic' that i'd love nothing more than to be proved wrong, it's not been very often that has happened though.

Agree with Mahrez but Schlupp? If you're going to pick apart Albrighton's performances the fine but you have to do the same with Schlupp. The guy looks like a lost sheep 95% of the time. He's absolutely useless.

I like your positivity, but the problems aren't due to our negativity, it's due to the fact we've got a garbage manager who's royally ****ed up.

He was more than half decent against Villa. People are surprised he's not even on the bench. People are surprised he plays an out of form goalkeeper over one who has barely made a mistake all season. Why are you so desperate to defend the manager?

And all this crap about 'People will be happy to lose'. You seem so blinkered I could turn it round and say you don't seem bothered your team is bottom.

How the hell can any Leicester fan be positive, and you don't have to be Mystic f^cking Meg to predict our results!

I won't/wouldn't be boasting a defeat, i'd/i'll be angry, i'd/i'll be seriously pissed off.
