Mark_w Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 I don't know if it's hilarious or utterly depressing that i'm the only one with an ounce of positivity. You're not. I think it's a good line-up. Obviously Everton are stronger than us and if they're on form they'll beat us and all these moaning ***** will rip Pearson a new one. But we played very well against Arsenal and looked pretty good until the change of formation against Villa. Unlike the majority of members on Foxes Talk, I'm no Alex Ferguson, but I don't see why anyone thinks defeat is inevitable because of this eleven.
hejammy Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Would a draw be good enough bearing in mind Everton are not great at home this season? Who would take a draw?
bovril Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Negativity breeds losing for me. if the players and fans are positive then we have a chance of staying up. If they're not then we might as well start booking hotels for Brentford away. Again, with the utmost respect (I'm sure you're a diamond geezer), you have lost the plot.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Agree with Mahrez but Schlupp? If you're going to pick apart Albrighton's performances the fine but you have to do the same with Schlupp. The guy looks like a lost sheep 95% of the time. He's absolutely useless.THIS.
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Can someone PM me a high quality stream please I'm not aware of any stream with technical capability to remove our team. Sorry
lgfualol Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Agree with Mahrez but Schlupp? Glad you said that, now he will score.
Dr The Singh Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Need some luck today. A win will be massive, a loss means we could go -8 by the end of next week
Callabinho Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Well here we go, to another painful 90....
Tuna Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Its all very sad to see. NP has lost the plot and is out of his depth. He just doesn't know what he's doing anymore. Should resign with dignity and not further sully what he did last season, at least giving us a chance of making a fist of it with him in charge we've no chance. I don't buy that no one to take over crap, nobody could be worse than Pearson at the moment. Not much fun knowing the game is lost before we even play, give it a go man far too negative. Owners are to blame as are the other coaches who should be questioning the guy's logic. We'd have stayed up if he'd been sacked sooner, the players are good enough. 5 points behind Burnley and we've signed about £20 million on players, what a bloody joke.
hejammy Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 THIS. I have to disagree with this, schlupp a lot of the time is useless, however he does cause defenders issues, mainly as he is so unpredictable, he can do something amazing (sometimes unintentionally) he has has a few good appearances for us. Although I probably would prefer Albrighton to have a good run in the team but clearly that isn't going to happen is it.
bovril Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Anyway, enough with all this silliness. Come on you blue boys...
Matt Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Need copious amounts of strong ale to get myself through this.
Frank to be Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Here we go, solid team and formation. Nigel's found the winning formula! The great escape starts here! K.T.F W.Y.S
Fox on the edge Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Need some luck today. A win will be massive, a loss means we could go -8 by the end of next weekAny pervy acts of love you wish to perform on Pearson today if we win?
AKCJ Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 He was more than half decent against Villa. People are surprised he's not even on the bench. People are surprised he plays an out of form goalkeeper over one who has barely made a mistake all season. Why are you so desperate to defend the manager? And all this crap about 'People will be happy to lose'. You seem so blinkered I could turn it round and say you don't seem bothered your team is bottom. I'm amazed that he's not on the bench, just like i'm amazed that he's not starting Hamer, just like i'm amazed that he's still playing Morgan, just like i'm amazed that Simpson is playing.. Just because I don't bleat on about wanting him out doesn't mean I don't question his decisions. I want him to stay but I realise that we're not going to gain anything from sacking him now. We missed the boat in November IMO. I am completely bothered that my team is bottom. Just because I don't say "Pearson out" after every post, it doesn't mean to say im happy with the situation we're in. I will only be happy if we get a result today. Pearson being sacked won't change my happiness. In fact, i'm about 95% on the fence with a foot on the Keep Pearson side. I don't think we gain anything from sacking him. I can't see anyone coming in and doing a better job.
Thrill Bert Fox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Wasyl on the bench. Now, thank you Pearson for destroying all his chances for the return to our national team. Nawałka won't take Marcin when he's benched. And thank you Pearson for making the task easier for Everton. Captain Calamity again in the line up... LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORDDD. I really do think he is taking the p... And doing the best he can to destroy the team I have suppoted for years. He needs to go now please
AKCJ Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Again, with the utmost respect (I'm sure you're a diamond geezer), you have lost the plot. What have I said there that you've highlighted that suggests that? If the players and fans are negative then we're going down. We need self belief, not a defeatist attitude.
john5690 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Hopefully we can put in a similar shift as we did against arsenal with this same lineup
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Just ****ing score with some of the chances please
Dr The Singh Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Any pervy acts of love you wish to perform on Pearson today if we win?No point matey, there's no chance of Pearson getting A sniff
fazzyfox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 In my pre match sweepstake I've drawn 64 (for the minute in which Morgan will be responsible for an opposition goal). When dreadful performances are followed with being handed a (starting) shirt for the next game it devalues the badge and sends the wrong message to the squad. You could point to age and pace (needing to be alongside Huth and Upson) but didn't Wasilewski have the better stats on speed this season? As for Right back I favour De Laet not so much for his significantly superior attacking threat but the basic facts that he's better than Simpsons Villa performance and cocks up less than Simpson. Mahrez will need to muck in and track Baines whoever starts behind him but I just have more faith in De Laet than Simpson. 0-0 with admirable grit until the token Morgan error so 0-1
