Don't know about if cambiasso, but I should imagine Phillips has, but I don't know, but as he's a coach already, I should imagine he has the badges he needs.

Why would it do any harm, if we get beat by hull, that will be the final nail in the coffin, so it would do no harm at all.

The only harm would be to pearson's ego, but not bank account, and to those who he can do no wrong.

How do you know?

Pearson has got us promoted from the Championship and we pretty much know we'll at least be up there and competing for promotion if he stays, you don't know if swopping him for a total novice would have good or catastrophic ramifications.

Phillips only experience so far in coaching is one season and one relegation from the Premier League.

You've managed to spout bollocks in every sentence, every word has been carefully managed to achieve the maximum amount of twisted knickers and you've got a page of people telling you "you don't know what you're doing" within minutes.

10/10 trolling.

Has Esteban completed his coaching badges?

Who cares?

He's bald, a legend and has a fancy foreign name, it obviously means he's the perfect man for the job.

It could be like Paulo Sousa again, we were going to walk the league when he arrived, have you not seen his Champions League medal and sexy football?

This. Also his source is a car.

I think we weren't equipped to handle what Sousa wanted us to do, more than him being a bad manager. He's clearly done alright for himself since and previous - another case of the owner not giving enough time.

Though he did make the stupid decision of signing Martyn Waghorn for 3m

Bentleys is reporting a rumour from 'an insider', that... <snip>

You lost me at that bit  lol

On the few recent occasions I've popped in to that small place for a look it's like Groundhog Day - the handful of regulars have a strange obsession with what people say here and on Facebook; everything in the world in sheer misery; then there's the paranoia about everything and everyone. I stopped posting there 2 years ago. But you know, each to their own, free speech and all that, peace and love etc

I cannot believe some of our fans would actually prefer 2 guys who have no badges and no managerial experience over 1 of our most successful managers, who has proven he knows how to deal with the championship.

This made me want to cry a little bit.

Bentleys is reporting a rumour from 'an insider', that Cambiasso & Phillips have been lined up to take temporary charge, WHEN Nige 'loses the plot' and we get near the 'drop door'.  I await the inevitable barrage of abuse from the 'Pearsonites', saying that it won't happen and Nige will either keep us up (?!), or be staying 'for another go' in the Championship next season !

When?

You mean he hasn't and we aren't?!

I actually quite like the sound of this made-up rumour.

I really can’t see that Pearson will be here next season  – unless he’s kicked upstairs to a DoF role.

Would he really have the motivation to have another go at winning the Championship? And, even if he does, would we really want to then start another Premiership campaign with Nige in charge? Too risky to expect him to have learned from this season.

Cambiasso must surely want to stay in the game and go into a managerial role. Why not with us? If he can transfer his passion and commitment to the players he could do a job for us.

I was a world class bank teller back in the day, perhaps HSBC should give me the CEO role? I've got plenty of passion and commitment.

Changing manager is one thing, employing two replacements with absolutely zero experience at ANY level is another.

2 non proven managers at any level.

In  fact 2 guys who have never managed anyone.

and a coach whose department has failed this season.

I don't see it.

I'm probably one of the greatest teachers in the history of teaching. Perhaps Cameron wants me as Education secretary.

I'm one of the biggest pricks on here... perhaps I can be a top gear presenter.

Inter have more or less offered him a job there for life, but after our interest, Cambiasso wanted to play in Prem & who knows he may want x million from a season in MLS too.

I'be vary wary of any new manager to the Championship, it's a very unique place and experiences elsewhere aren't really a guiding factor in success.

We might as well go the whole hog and have a committee of Schwarzer, Upson, Cambiasso and Phillips managing the team.
