hackneyfox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Some fans are just getting carried away tonight, getting the knives out in precautionary fashion. Pearson's comment about one journalist, coupled with our result and Burnley's win has a particular part of the fanbase in complete meltdown. ffs people aren't getting carried away based on a comment to a journalist, our or Burnley's result. They are finally getting pissed off because today was an appaling display and finally they are seeing what many of us have known for a long time. We are Leicester fans, you clearly put your love of an arrogant individual before your love of the team You're screwed when he does go as I'm not sure who else would take on a twat like him so you'll nobody else to watch. Sack the useless cnut tomorrow,
GingerrrFox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Seems John Percy has defended Nigel and said that the question was designed to provoke and the video shouldn't be taken for how it seems.

Great thats ok then. Now i can just look forward to relegation and god know how long stuck in the lower leagues before we once again get promoted and humiliated because we have an idiot in charge,
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Get rid now Don't see the point in even giving him until the end of the season
st albans fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Seems John Percy has defended Nigel and said that the question was designed to provoke and the video shouldn't be taken for how it seems. Never seen a journo trying to provoke a manager before Never heard a manager call a journo 'a ****' Only one of these statements is true. Why do you think that is?
thejfox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 The only person who would be able to defend Pearson is Pearson, he honestly believes he is greater than any other great manager that has ever lived. sir alf Ramsey, sir Alex sir Bobby Robson , shankly, morinio, even the great Martin O'Neil all stood on the sideline and drove there troops forward, argued every decision with anyone that would listen, Demanded every last ounce of effort out of there players, influenced refs decisions. Gained extra minutes of added on time when they needed it. inspired both there team and the fans and made them believe they could do it. but oh no not the great and mighty ( I do it my way, because I know better ) Mr Pearson. I'll sit way up in the stands even when my (was) team are playing against 10 men and are clueless how to score , I'll just sit here with my arms folded looking

Why do you think that is? It's crazy, Pearson bangs on about his players are just trying to do their jobs and when a journo tries to do the same he flips. Guy needs to get his head checked.
Collibosher70 Posted 15 March 2015 Author Posted 15 March 2015 He needs to go its that simple..for the sake of the team and the club.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Where are the Pearson defenders? Mark w, Swan Lesta et al.? Is there any sort of argument that can be made for defending Nigel Pearson's tenure at this football club? If so, let's hear it.
weller7 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I said it months ago we should have offered Tony Pulis a kings ransom to keep us up when he was out of work

So his entire tenure has been a failure because this season is extremely poor? Ridiculous as always Col.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I've lost faith now too, both in the struggle to stay up and in the manager. I have said on here that I think he would be the best option in whatever division next season as I'd like is to have stability and long term strategy, but not anymore. He's too stubborn and I don't think he'll ever change. Tactically inept, too loyal to his players, and appears to discount certain players and make them outcasts for whatever reason. From the highs of the start of the season up to the Man U game to the lows now, it's been horrible.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 So his entire tenure has been a failure because this season is extremely poor? Ridiculous as always Col. I simply suggested the pro Pearson brigade should come on here and provide some balance. If people still believe he's right for the job, let's hear why. Last season has gone. Stop living in the past and discuss the here and now.
Strokes Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 This season has been a disaster no doubt about it, but we always knew it would be tough. I still think Nigel can turn it around, we just need to get out of this slump. There have been players we all thought would adjust to the premiership, that quite simply haven't and I think a season or two in the championship is what their careers need, they just weren't ready. With or without Nigel we will be back in the prem soon and hopefully will be ready to make the a fight of it.
Leicesterfan Cambiasso Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I still want Pearson here. I like him a lot and believe we're not that far off becoming a success in the premier league we just need to get a couple of more concentrated players. I would definitely give him the first 10 games of next season whatever league we are in, which I still have some faith will be this one.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Some posters seem to think it's just a foregone conclusion that we will gain promotion back to the Prem next season or at most the season after, let's not forget what a tough league the Championship is, have a look at the division, some good teams in there as last seasons relegated teams have found out. We were 10 years in the wilderness, don't be so matter of fact in just assuming we will be back in the Prem in 1or 2 seasons, this was our chance, we blew it.
LJS Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 The journalist might well have being attempting to provoke Pearson. But journalists like stories and Pearson should have the brains to realise that journalists, knowing his prickly personality, are going to try it on. That he has risen to it shows a level of naivety at best. At worst it suggests he knows his number's up and he doesn't give a shit about the impact he is having on the club's reputation in the meantime.

Shame that we are heading that way as I still believe we had the players to win games...some played out of position and some just don't get played
st albans fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I watched the highlights of the championship earlier to see the opposition for next season. worried!

That's the Pro Pearson 'get out of jail card' though surely? Don't worry about this season, it was always going to be difficult etc etc..because Nigel will naturally take us straight back up again and we will be bigger and better. I even heard this last night in the pub...from one of my own mates ...who said that Nigel would have 'learnt' how to build a side capable of challenging in the top flight when we come straight back up. Until I pointed out that actually, rather than him learning, we now look a worse side than we did at the start of this season. This thing about bouncing straight back up is ridiculous and is trawled out as a catch all by those loyal to Sir Nigel. No-one knows how we'd do next season. If we go down, the squad will change I suspect, and as you say, the Championship is anything but a simple division to get out of.
Vacamion Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 If we were comfortably mid table, people would laugh and roll their eyes and it would add to the legend of Nige as a hard man. We'd probably mention that he also likes to take on wild dogs, too. Because we are rock bottom and almost certainly going down, it's a sackable offence. The reason Mourinho gets away with being a fud is that, by and large, he manages successful teams. It's as simple as that.
costonfox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Get him out the door today, anyone eles could do better infact aproach phillips and cambiaso give them a go we have nothing to loose, that gives us time to coax someone half decent in ,its still a full house we get behind them ,it could just work
