Southampton up next......

Recommended Posts

Well if Sunderland can beat Southampton hopefully we can do the same !

Both Everton and Southampton let us down today they should have beaten their opponents today would have been better for us !!

But fook it were Leicester City were taking the piss were Leicester City the great escapes on !!

We theoretically need results from our remaining games now no slip ups please lads !!

Play like we did today and we'll win. They now have nothing to play for after losing against Sunderland today which could well help us. Ward-Prowse banned will help although they have adequate replacements, no doubt about that.

No JWP and no Schneiderlin. Think we'll get a point.

We can beat them. Sunderland did today, therefore so can we.

Morgan Schneiderlin will be out injured and James Ward-Prowse will be suspended which is a positive piece of team news for us too. With Jack Cork leaving in January that leaves them a little thin on the ground in central midfield. 3 points, with our current form to boot, is a realistic target.

It's incredible how badly other results went for us today. We gained no ground on Villa, Sunderland or West Brom, which is a shame after such a great result for us. If there is anything good to come from that, then it will be that there's no danger of complacency creeping in. No-one at the club is going to be thinking they're anywhere near safe yet.

I think we'll be more up for this one than Soton will be. They're not going to be desperate to get into the Europa League, or whatever that competition is called these days. With any luck, they'll be on the beach already and we can carry our good form on. In an ideal world, the other results around us will be a bit kinder, as well. Is that really too much to ask?

Playing them at the right time. Missing Forster, Ward-Prowse & Schneiderlin as well as being out of form.

This will be very tricky I think, but it's winnable. If Sunderland can beat them so can we.

Looks like every bastard outside the top three and relegation scrap just wants the season to end and is barely playing - fingers crossed this is no exception. Saints have nothing to play for, we're on fire - another 3 points providing we are as committed as we have been since the start of April.
