Carlos9 Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Who do you lot think would be a good signing IF Fryatt goes ??
C-man Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I have absolutely no idea who would fit into our system as well as Fryatt currently is.
CosbehFox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Batman. Big lad, 6 ft, scores for fun in the Gotham League. Very clean player too - never been red-carded.
Carlos9 Posted 14 December 2008 Author Posted 14 December 2008 We would need to replace him with some one who is like him. A Owen type player who is on the end of everything and knows where the goal is. Because i cant see many goals coming out of any one else really. Not enough to get us promoted anyway!
Daggers Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Anyone who doesn't believe Kaka was made to run alongside Howard is a fool and a moron. Him or Messi.
Thracian Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Batman. Big lad, 6 ft, scores for fun in the Gotham League. Very clean player too - never been red-carded. I can't see Chris O'Grady returning!
breadandcheesebrother Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Stick DJ up front. That oughta solve the problem!
fox123 Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 It's a pity that DJ doesn't have the ability to stay on-side, if he did, with confidence he would be more lethal in this division than Fryatt IMO. He has proven him self in the Championship (Birminghams promotion season) and is lightning quick, I just don't get why he hasn't done that with us.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Adam Boyd from Orient? Cox from Swindon? Benson from Dagenham and Redbridge?
Koke Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Craig Mackail-Smith. Robbing Posh won't be an easy task though.
FilboFox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Why can't we just convince Fryatt to stay... we're getting back into the Championship next year and no Premiership club that's going to stay there is going to want him... plus, he's probably not good enough for the Premiership at the moment and needs to keep the confident run going here and then build on that in the Championship before going into the Premiership with us.
Charnwood Norris Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Marcus Bent if Brum let him leave - not had the best start with them. Anyway, 20-w'ever Fryatt goals in league one equals about 5 in Prem - Baggies know that won't ensure survival.

In a team where he has decent service I think he will do well. For example, I'd say that, if he was at Wigan he would at this stage of the season have scored more than 5.
Big Bad Fox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 the return of the Akinbiyi may be upon us..
GLC Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Daryl Murphy or Dave Connolly. would love to see connolly back, not seen much of him since he left us
Ashley Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Daryl Murphy or Dave Connolly. I second this. Where's Chorpa these days
lcfc81 Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Batman. Big lad, 6 ft, scores for fun in the Gotham League. Very clean player too - never been red-carded. I heard on radio 1 about two weeks ago they killed him off in the comic! Still he'd proberbly offer more movemnet than Howard dead or alive.
Bert Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I'm surprised no one has said Rickie Lambert yet. I can't actually think of anyone though.
