Our squad isn't too dissimilar from last year and although we evidently need strengthening, we have a decent amount of PL quality in our squad and with the addition of one or two we'll have a competitive enough first 11. Our squad is the issue and we lack some real strength in depth. A few injuries in key positions and we will struggle.

Has a ring of Brendan to him but he must have known what he was in for when he agreed to take over. I don't like him coming up and saying publicly we're short of quality, as it might deflate the squad. Keep that sort of stuff in house!!

Tactically we didn't get it right and weren't set up as a team but rather tried to 'shoehorn' our best players in a system to get them all on the pitch.

He did a great job getting Forest up and keeping them here despite the huge number of changes in the playing staff there. We need a pragmatic manager this season as it'll be tough and although he wouldn't have been my first choice it might just give us a chance to survive.

I'm surprised people don't rate him. Good on the ball, aggressive and is decent defensively. Yes he gets caught out positionally but he was the source of a lot of our attacks last season. Not many defenders are so comfortable on the ball as he is.

We would have struggled to play that style in the prem so it's mixed feelings but he is a top manager. It wasn't easy to do what we did in what was a very tough championship season last year and we should have broken all records which says it all.

The advantage we may have over Everton and Forest is knowing our fate early on. Don't want to wait till gameweek 30 to find out our fate!!

Loyalty works both ways. Players can be loyal and be shipped off if they have one bad season and likewise they could leave when their stock is high and maximise their careers and personal wealth/profile. No one is owed anything. Players like Vardy are the exception in the modern game but he was very well paid to stay here in all fairness.

He's actually criminally underrated. Great on the ball, steps into midfield well and a solid defender overall. That run was incredible too.

What a player he has been. The greatest we'll ever see. The catalyst to our two Championship titles, the great escape, the premier league win and our European feats. He actually goes under the radar as he plays for us. He's been world class and shows it in patches like he's currently in. Lethal, ruthless and no nonsense. We'll never have another like him.

It's been a great season. Don't let the last 10 or so games mask that. We've had four teams collate record amounts of points so it's been exceptional.
