Benji Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Newcastle away. Albrighton starts. Leicester lose 1-0. Point disproven.
Monsell1976 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 To the lads credit, he worked hard, and for me played really well.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 We score more than the opposition, we win. I noticed that, we get 3 points when that happens in the league...
Jimothy Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I noticed that, we get 3 points when that happens in the league... And our goal difference improves too!
Bayfox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Imagine how good we'd be if Albrighton and Hammond played

shailen Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 He was decent today, but by no means a game changer. The game changer was the formation we played, so Pearson gets credit for that.

GaelicFox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 United game ...glorious sun shine...we win Today lovely sunshine ...we win Sun shine is key We need to move the city to Spain and we would bate the crap out of Barcelona
shailen Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 So when we lose its the players fault, but if we win pearson takes the credit. We still look far from complete side, and some of his decisions are not great, but he has won through the passion and work rate of the players, who have took the pressure off him, for now Never said that. We looked much better at the back when we went to 3 at the back. The players are the ones who make it happen but there is no denying today that the way we set up second half is what changed the game. The players deserve credit, and do so throughout the season for never giving up and their commitment. I never questioned this from this team.In previous games we have played equally well, but not had the quality where it counts. Today we had the quality in the vital areas. Players deserve a lot of credit. They all do. But so does Pearson. He made the changes and they worked. And when we have lost this season, everyone seems to go against Pearson and not the players, except for the usual scapegoats. I am not saying Pearson shouldn't be criticised because some of his decisions have been questionable. Lawrence is probably the biggest example.
shailen Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 "Formations don't win games... Players win games..." -Nigel Pearson Absolutely not denying this, but formations can make players play better in a system that suits them better. RDL and JS are more suited to the wing back roles.

The formation change definitely won the game (or allowed Schlupp, Cambiasso, and Vardy to win the game).
Sir Shep Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 people post pictures of Rachel Riley, leicester win, comments? Can't argue with the facts, I expect many a photo of Rachel for the visit of the mighty swans.
blue army 1988 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I hope he starts today. He seems one of our better players imo
Benguin Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 He is good and I like him but I do think he is second to Mahrez when Mahrez is in form, which is rare these days....
barnhoundk Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Think this should be nugent plays we win. From memory we have nor won a single game without him starting, and he has featured in every single point we have gained. Not a single point without him!
lcfcsnow Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Think this should be nugent plays we win. From memory we have nor won a single game without him starting, and he has featured in every single point we have gained. Not a single point without him! Think that's more to do with going through two windows not bothering to sign a player suited to the role in behind the striker. Seeing as the role is crucial to our only successful formation it's beggars belief we chose to ignore strengthening.
Clever Fox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Think this should be nugent plays we win. From memory we have nor won a single game without him starting, and he has featured in every single point we have gained. Not a single point without him! Totally agree Nugent is still our best Striker. He has a proper Strikers instincts inside the box unlike the others. you only have to look at some of his Guile with benders and deft little lift overs. on current form and playing Ulloa up top Albrighton has to play. It's balls in the box that bring goals not fancy step overs and losing the ball which is what Mahrez has been doing lately.
FireFox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 72 touches, 70% pass accuracy, 40 passes, 14/30 accurate crosses + long ball passes. Took all three of the set pieces that the goals (and penalty) came from.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 His delivery from set pieces is excellent. We now look reasonably dangerous at corners.
zak_lcfc Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Glad he's getting enough minutes to show what he can do, he adds a dimension to our team we didn't have before in decent deliveries from set pieces! He's good defensively as well which helps the team, good on him for taking his chance when it came
shailen Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Have to admit, I did not see him coming into the form he has done. He really has done well and hopefully it continues.
