For me, this in many ways explains why I could never quite get the 'Pearson Out' shouts. Whilst I'll admit I went from staunchly Pearson in to 'If he got sacked he could have no complaints' after the Hull game, before then I always maintained that we should stick with him because the players had stuck with him. They have given their all for him this season, even if at times we've lacked in quality. If you needed any proof that the media Pearson is not the real Pearson then this is it - he's obviously an extremely likeable bloke judging by the players' relationship with him. The talk of a bust up between him an Albrighton (although it may well have happened a while ago) can be put to bed too looking at this and their interaction over the last few weeks.
