Guest ttfn Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I had nothing left after Cambiasso's equaliser against United, probably the most excited I've ever been about anything ever. The whole ground was at absolute fever pitch at that point - if you watch the goal back there's this weird high pitched sound just before he strikes the ball - almost a collective intake of breath from the crowd before an explosion of celebration.

There's a great video on youtube from the Family Stand where you see the Kop rise as one as it hits the back of the net. I agree, I was spent after that. About 2 mins in. Shame about the girly scream though.
Guest bss9401 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Cambiasso vsman utd. If ever there was a 'Leicester are back' moment then that was it. To cap it all the world was watching.

I was so hungover everything from kick off til full time was a bit delayed, and the amount of time between the ball bouncing off Vardy and it hitting the net in my hungover, ridiculously excited and completely in awe haze seemed to be a good 15 minutes. So special. I very nearly stayed in bed all morning and watched on the tele instead such was my state. Imagine that. Would've been the worst decision ever.

I think that moment was better than Vardy's goal, the sheer unexpectedness of it all. Vardy's goal was almost inevitable, although no less glorious. The minute after the fourth goal with basically the whole ground singing Having a Party was another wonderful memory.

I was at my bro's wedding the night before and was so hungover that I had to stop the car on the way to the game to be sick. That game was the perfect hangover cure though!

Think I'd have ended it all if I'd done that! I always feel sick whenever I miss a game that turned out to be a bit special.
MikeyT Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Cambiasso v Man United, closely followed by Vardy v Man United Totally agree. And the look on that little bald geniuses face was just fantastic!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Vardys goal was an amazing moment felt like it was in slow motion. I remember half praying for him to score at that moment but didnt truly think he would, some of best celebrations I've ever been part of Ulloa at Stoke also good
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Vards v man utd or v wba those around me in l block just didn't know how to celebrate with that one against utd. who put the ball in Uniteds net?
VLC86 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I had nothing left after Cambiasso's equaliser against United, probably the most excited I've ever been about anything ever.. same here, incredible stuff. When Vardy controlled De Laets pass for the 4th I can just remember putting my hands on my head and saying 'what is happening' out loud, surreal moment. I was ill for a week after that
kingcarr21 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 For me it was Cambiasso equaliser against Man Utd. When we went 3-1 down i said to the lad next to me (Man U fan who used my bros ticket) that it just damage limitation now. Then to see Cambiasso score the equaliser and the sheer joy on his face (i am in the Kop row B so i could literally see the massive grin on Cambiasso's face) you could tell he genuinely loved being at Leicester and not just a final payday before retirement. He is fast becoming one of my favourite ever players

AndWhat? Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Cambiasso v Man U King V West Ham Vardy V West Brom This has probably been my favourite ever season watching Leicester City.
Fox92 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Vardy at West Brom for me too. Everybody was all over the place.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Vardy away at West Brom was unbelievable. Ended up about 4 rows in front with bodies all over the shop. Fantastic atmosphere all game there too with it being the Astle day.
Fox92 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I agree with Stoke too. Was right at the back that day. There's a good video from their end.
Ollie93 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I don't think anything will beat WBA away, the moment, what it meant. Man U will forever be up there. And Spurs away, not so much a great scene but what a day out.

And Spurs away, not so much a great scene but what a day out. Loved WBA away as well, Still have a scar down my left shin from going mental when Huth scored and that Vardy moment was just incredible.
soulsister Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 West brom away for me too Vardys winner, crazy scenes and no one wanted to leave at the end, feel this was the real catalyst for survival Man utd at home comes a close second..
4ever and ever Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Vardy at WBA Cambiasso equaliser v United Vardy at Burnley King v West Ham Jeff at Liverpool Jeff at Tottenham Ulloa v Stoke Hull full time whistle Albrighton v Chelsea
StanSP Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Cambiasso vs United Vardy vs United Wood vs Everton Vardy vs WBA Nugent vs Liverpool
Jam Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Vardys at west brom. Or spurs fa cup This. But then I'm biased, I was at both. Spurs was made all the sweeter by the fact I had some pessimistic old fart sitting next to me and my mate, bemoaning everything. Even after we equalised he said a FK Erikson was taking, was going in. Then we scored. Fantastic.
Big_Nige Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Vardy at West Brom. something special happened that day. Most mental I've celebrated this season. If you could bottle the euphoric feeling of when that ball hit the back of that net you'd be a millionaire. Man U was special but there something about the Vardy goal at the Hawthorns that I can't even describe.
