HUTH!

Something he did when he joined us, which I won't go into indicated strongly that his future was going to be aboard from next season.

Now I suppose there is a chance that his thought process may have changed, but without question he was looking to move abroad.

I suppose him being a regular with us, doing well and getting interest from the Premier League clubs could change that, but his actions showed he was definitely looking to move abroad this summer.

Do genuinely believe that he would've been good for a club like Arsenal or Liverpool; but probably one of Stoke's best-buys at the time.

Bought a new beach towel?

The club wanted him in January permanently but his recent injury record made that a loan. They are actively on it and once the holidays have settled down, expect action.

Every time I see this post goes to the top, I have hope of good news

There's only 3 weeks left until pre season. Nige wants his squad in place for pre season. Confident he's coming here.

Can imagine there's interest from similar clubs such as Crystal Palace and West Brom.

Like Cambiasso, depends on family and whatnot.

If he was coming it would have been done by now.

Nige doesn't normally like any news of transfers becoming public until the deal is done and everything is official.

Huth can't sign officially until the window opens in July.

It may well be that it's all-but-done already, and we're just not hearing anything because of the usual media silence from the club.

Or a deal might have been agreed in principle, and Huth is just enjoying his time off until we can officially make an offer, and then he'll sign.

There are an awful lot of possibilities, so not hearing anything as yet is by no means suggesting that it's bad news. It's easier said than done, but people need to relax about this, at least until July.

Offer him 10m a week JUST DO SOMETHING PLEASE

Hmm...are you planning on becoming a football agent? I think that's their usual starting amount! lol

I'm not too worried about it. If he comes back that would be fantastic, but if he decides not to, I'm sure Nige will sort something else out. I feel the same about Cambiasso. We all know how good they were last season and we would all want them back, but I wouldn't lose any sleep about it if the chose otherwise.

Not really, people at the club are on holiday, as im sure they are at stoke also.

Give it another 2 weeks and I think most business will have been done, to early right now though.

We had Jack Hobbs on loan, wanted him permanently so agreed a fee and terms and announced it at the last home game of the season.

It can be done. Why hasnt it? Maybe for the reasons you say or maybe because its not happening at all.

I like the positive thinking but that goes completely against the Fuchs transfer and announcement?

Fuchs is a free agent in July so could sign a pre-contract. Slightly different to Huth who still has a year left at Stoke

This is how i'm looking at it. Nigel probably has a lot of things in place but won't go public until necessary, or 100% definite. First week of July will hopefully have some good news, and lots of it.

According to the BBC website League clubs are allowed transfers after their last game (which we were when we announced the signing of Hobbs).

Premier League clubs have to wait till July 1st when the transfer window opens.

As others have said, if the two clubs agree and a deal is done with the player, it can be announced, but the administration for the transfer cannot be completed with the FA until July 1st. As others have mentioned, Leicester do not usually make announcements until the transfer is completely administered.

We announced Hobbs before the last home game. The last game of the season was away at Crewe so according to those rules, we made an exception. Pearson was in charge then and was happy to jump the gun.

There's no doubt we want him and can afford him, there's no doubt that Stoke are happy to sell him. All the pieces are there for a deal to have been done.

I dont think he's going to sign.

Are you being negative so as not to jinx the signing or are you always negative?
