MPH Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 With Huth, Pearson and the Thais in the same place at the same time ( the trip to Thailand), then if it's going to happen then that will be when the contract was dealt with. If it's going to happen then I'd expect some sort of announcements in the next couple of days. Probably wise not to steal Fuch's Thunder though which is why I think it hasn't been announced yet...
chicagofox Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 probably be the one that replaces wasyl as he's not getting younger Who among us is?
benpicko Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 I hope we sign him and also we are looking at Sebastian Coates from Liverpool and I think he'll probably be the one that replaces wasyl as he's not getting younger Nobody else thinking that maybe de Laet will replace Wasyl considering how Pearson keeps subbing him on and how well he's done when he has?
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 Nobody else thinking that maybe de Laet will replace Wasyl considering how Pearson keeps subbing him on and how well he's done when he has? no
artursteppe Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 Nobody else thinking that maybe de Laet will replace Wasyl considering how Pearson keeps subbing him on and how well he's done when he has? Yes. There have been times, certainly the first time it happened, when Huth ( I think ) went off injured, that Richie came on and was as good as anyone on the pitch. Right side of a back three.
Nickfosse Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 Won't we have to wait for July 1st when the transfer market opens given that he is in contract with Stoke beyond this Summer? I understand that players out of contract this summer such as Fuchs can be announced as to where they are going next. I'm not sure that the same applies to players in contract being transferred?

You can still announce it the same way Stoke did for Huth's supposed replacement.
Nickfosse Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 You can still announce it the same way Stoke did for Huth's supposed replacement. Wasn't that taking up the option to sign that was part of the original loan deal. I don't think we had that in our loan of Huth did we?

You're sort of right - transfers don't actually officially happen until the window opens on July 1st, but clubs are free to arrange a transfer before then and announce that it will happen.
m4DD0gg Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Pullis sniffing around. We need to get this done and ASAP, he was the reason we stayed up.
Bagworthblue Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 We were able to sign Fuchs because he was already released and not contracted to another club. As stated above, no official pen to paper can take place until 1st July
Ric Flair Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Pullis sniffing around. We need to get this done and ASAP, he was the reason we stayed up. Yeah that's the only club that bother me, but hopefully he's seen enough here to want to stay.

Babylon Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Not true. Villa have already signed scott Sinclair permanently He was on loan, if you have a purchase option in the loan is it different? Sure I've heard something like that before.
eddylcfc Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 We were able to sign Fuchs because he was already released and not contracted to another club. As stated above, no official pen to paper can take place until 1st July Of course you can. You can agree a fee and terms with a player but the transfer doesn't become official until July 1st. Chelsea signed a kid from Athletico Paranese last month but isn't official until July 1st
Stevosevic Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 We've signed so many players for fees before July before. Vardy, James, De Laet etc...all were post season in May
lgfualol Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Why hasnt he signed yet what is happening why doesnt he want to sign who else eants him he is ours

FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Yeah that's the only club that bother me, but hopefully he's seen enough here to want to stay. It will all hinge on big Rob's thoughts on middle aged men in baseball caps. Personally I am firmly in the big white trainers brigade! It does disappoint me that Nige is always quite snappily dressed whenever I see him though. I like the idea of him swapping his branded city tracksuit for a nice Kappa or Sergio Tacchini number, while he nips pops to Aldi and Weatherspoons on his days off.
Gerard Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I'm 90% sure he'll sign for us. If he enjoyed his time at Leicester and got on with the players then similar clubs to us who want him will have to offer more money on the transfer fee or wages. We certainly have pole position at the moment.

Dan Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I'll be absolutely sick if we miss out on Huth after this. Got this horrible feeling West Brom will go and sneak in and get him. They're one of those clubs who just have a tendency to irritate.
