I agree, Stephens won the ball and it was gas tons follow through that caused the damage, it was unfortunate it was into his studs, but it wasn't so much that his studs were up and he was out of control. 100% think the ref went red because of the injury not the challenge. His initial reaction suggested just a yellow, then he went red and kept pointing to the injury.

Terrible refereeing. Only thing worse is the commentary saying you can't blame the ref and giving him the excuse that he probably didn't know what colour the first card was.

Unlikeable by whom? I think we are seen a as role model as to how clubs should be run these days. Remember, we've got promoted ahead of teams like Hull and Derby, finished in front of Boro. No mean achievement when you consider the size of our fan base. If we overstretched ourselves we could end up like you did, Bolton, Rovers etc. all in serious financial difficulty. I think there is an enormous amount of respect for us, like there is for you this season!

By anyone who had to listen to Dyche's constant whining about money and who are aware that last season he spent more above their transfer income than we did in our last 2 Championship seasons combined. Also anyone who had to put up with arrogant and deluded Burnley fans during the 13/14 season. Of course that's all in the past now but people who read Burnley fans' ignorant digs at other clubs' financial difficulties might come up with their own reasons to dislike poor Burnley.
