m4DD0gg Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 What is that Burnley mascot? Is it a bumble bee?! Would have thought it would be a loaf of hovis.
lifted*fox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Great, we're going to have to endure that gravel-voiced, duster-wearing, ginger crap-hat for another ****ing season aren't we?
StanSP Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Did Burnley spend more this season than we did in our league-winning campaign?
Jimothy Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Did Burnley spend more this season than we did in our league-winning campaign? Not sure but they've certainly been one of the market leaders this season.
Mark_w Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Did Burnley spend more this season than we did in our league-winning campaign? We signed loads of experienced incredibly cheap players and Mahrez, can't remember anyone particularly expensive? Hammond might have cost the most? So unless my mind is playing tricks on me Gray cost more than our signings that season. Market leaders.
ScouseFox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Did Burnley spend more this season than we did in our league-winning campaign? yes, by miles. pretty sure andre gray alone cost more than pearson spent on our championship winning squad all together. pretty sure their first eleven right now cost pretty much the same as ours right now.
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Dyche has done a brilliant job again. People said Burnley wouldn't be up there again, they then lost both Shackell and Ings.
StanSP Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Dyche has done a brilliant job again. People said Burnley wouldn't be up there again, they then lost both Shackell and Ings. see the above posts though.
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 see the above posts though. It doesn't matter though because the other top 4 sides spent big as well. Burnley spent less than Middlesbrough and less than Derby. Superb job by Dyche and nobody can deny that.
m4DD0gg Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 mass pitch invasion, gravel throat being dragged away by security like he was US President. Joey Barton right in mixer with fans.
Vacamion Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I don't think anyone questions Dyche's ability as a manager in getting sides promoted. He's just a massive flangepiece, though, isn't he?
adam Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Put your phones away and enjoy the celebration .****ing burnley fans .
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Congrats to Burnley in fairness. Well deserved return to the Premier League.
Benguin Posted 2 May 2016 Author Posted 2 May 2016 To be fair Burnley and Dyche did a great job, will be weird hosting teams like Barcelona in the same season we host burnley! Can see them staying up this time around
TheSomersetFox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Fair play to Burnley. As long as Hull aren't one of the teams that come up i'm happy
surrifox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Hate Burnley. Crap having them back Ha ha and listening to Dyche again - twat
Corky Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I don't think anyone questions Dyche's ability as a manager in getting sides promoted. He's just a massive flangepiece, though, isn't he? Pretty much. Hopefully we'll have focus on what happens on the pitch next season rather than the bank balances. Next season is a test for him, he had a free ride last time but he's spent big money this season and will be expected to perform better.
MC Prussian Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 The Premier League leaders vs. the Championship market leaders.
The Bear Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Did Burnley spend more this season than we did in our league-winning campaign?Does it matter?I doubt they have nearly as much debt as you did when you went up (something like £40m written off by the owners IIRC).
