They have actually pulled it out of the bag this year.

Demo is very good, gameplay in particular has improved a lot.

Have to agree. Ive played about 5 matches on the demo and scored a variety of different goals. I always found Fifa you would only score the same type of goal. Maybe i just wasnt very good at it though. lol

I reckon the only thing saving FIFA at the moment is the fact they have, and will always have, all the licenses.

If you judge it on total stats then Inler and Fuchs are 2 of the best players in the world, they are almost as good as Messi and better than Neymar......I'm going to judge it on that from now on so I don't get upset about it lol:)

ultimately when playing a football game does anyone actually care for the licenses. Give me the old Pes with Midlands Blue over Fifa anyday

First time I'll be buying PES since 08.

Fifa has been shit for the past few years, you can only play so much before you get bored. People only buy it for Ultimate Team, yet in time you get bored with that.

PES all the way this year unless Fifa pull something out extraordinary.

This is without question.  If you stick the licences that FIFA has on to the PES game, there is only one winner, and it'd be by a country mile...PES

How is PES online these days though.  For me, its biggest downfall previously was having shocking servers and games were always a lag fest no matter what.

Have always played fifa but got a copy of pes15 on sale a couple of weeks ago to see what all the fuss is about.

 

Gameplay wise PES is much better than Fifa and you can score a much more varied type of goal and even playing offline is enjoyable.

 

Online on pes is an absolute joke and you wait for between 5 or 10 minutes for a game which is then laggy and I thought the Fifa servers were bad before this.

 

Visually PES is not a patch on FIFA it just looks so dated.

 

Licences is not that much of an issue for me as I only play ultimate team on fifa and thought that My Club on PES would be similar and it has a few good points but the online is dead and you would really need to spend real money the maintain a good team on it whereas on FUT I love beating teams you know people have spend 100's of pounds on with my non rare gold discard teams.

Nugent and Wood are the same rating as Vardy

 

Nugent as a 71 with no upgrade is fine; he definitely didn't deserve a downgrade (though I noticed his pace took an expected hit.) But upgrading Wood who never played and not upgrading Vardy is just ridiculous. Notice that the only player out of those 3 who got shafted is the only one still playing for Leicester. Hmmm...

Vardy did get upgraded? Albeit by not a lot and most (me included) think he ought to be higher

True true. I misspoke. I just meant in a way that affects his overall rating. His pace is still lower than it should be, as is his finishing. I'm also a firm believer that he should have 4* weak foot. He does a lot of damage with his left foot. There are plenty of other specific stats we could nit-pick on. Totally agree, he should be 73-74. I think it's criminal that his sprint speed isn't 90+ though.

Yeah I completely agree with all of that. Definitely needs higher pace, ridiculous he isn't one of the fastest in the league (on the game that is)

Just had an hours play on it. Fut draft looks very good but Ive found it so hard to score. CPU defending has improved dramatically, hopefully this will stretch to online as well and we will no longer have to deal with comical defending. Game seemed quite slow but im pretty sure thats only because its the demo.

Highlight so far is scoring an absolute beauty from inler, though tbf the whole game was just shooting with him.

Will be a very good game I reckon

Downloading the demo now. Played the pes demo yesterday and was impressed tbf. It has competition but I'll always get fifa, just a question of if I'll get pes as well
