Guest ttfn Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 If Spurs win the league and Kane scores 25 goals he's got to win it. That probably won't happen but you can't argue with somebody single handedly shooting a team to the title like that. There's also a chance that the Leicester vote will be split and Payet or Ozil will mince in.
Donut Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Obviously Mahrez should, and will, win it.. How can Kane be player of the season? He did **** all in the first 10 games. Top scorer in the Premier league and 20+ goals at 22 is no mean feat
AKCJ Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Top scorer in the Premier league and 20+ goals at 22 is no mean feat Age has nothing to do with it. I know people like to be different, but it will be an outrage if Mahrez does not win it.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Top scorer in the Premier league and 20+ goals at 22 is no mean feat Mahrez has contributed to more goals, scoring 16 and 11 assists... Kane has just the one assist

Kane has just the one assist I never said Kane should win it, but he absolutely deserves to be right up there in the discussion. Hes transformed himself into one of Europes best strikers.
foxes161 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 I'm cheering... why wouldn't I? he has never been good for England rather drinkwater please for one you never cheer injures.
AKCJ Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 I never said Kane should win it, but he absolutely deserves to be right up there in the discussion. Hes transformed himself into one of Europes best strikers. He's in the top 5 for me. Mahrez Kante Vardy Payet Kane There's so much more to football than scoring goals.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 for one you never cheer injures. It has happened, I never wished it on him what so ever... he will be fit and ready to continue playing, just one of those things that happen in football... Besides I'm not cheering the injury at all, I just don't feel he plays well for England and we are better without him in the team...
The Doctor Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 The comments section of that is hilarious: I'd go for Mahrez, Kane, Vardy, Payet, Alli and Kante in that order. There have been other great players this season like Alderweireld and Butland though. Mahrez has to be the winner though. Payet has been outstanding but West Ham are 6th, Vardy has had a barren spell in front of goal while Kane did so early on while Alli and Kante are replaceable. Without Mahrez, Leicester wouldn't be in first. Kante is hardly replaceable, his sheer dynamism is practically unmatched in any of the top five leagues at the moment - certainly not by anyone who'd join us.

Dan Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Hodgson will likely class an 80% fit Jordan Henderson as better than Drinkwater, depressingly.

The Doctor Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 If anyone could find one it'd be Walsh, but there's not loads of him out there waiting to be discovered.
Matt Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 C'mon West Ham! Make a stride towards Europe plus knock Arsenal out the title race - Some will argue Arsenal are out of it, but if they win their game in hand they're more of a danger than Tottenham imo, I'd like to think neither should bother us now, but it's not over till it's over.
IOWFOX Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 West ham fans must be fuming. 3rd game in a row that the officials have messed up massively.

Their run-in is incredibly easy on paper too, in theory, they could more or less comfortably win every game (aside from Man City). But it's Arsenal, they'll bottle it.
Riyad_Suarez Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Commentators on BT sport didn't bat an eyelid at the disallowed goal which looked onside. I would say it's bizarre but then its Glenn Hoddle on commentary....
Phube Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Bloody refereeing conspiracy isn't it I can imagine the Spurs fans...
LJS Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Not bothered by Arsenal. We just need to do our own bit. I'm quite happy for Arsenal to win this one comfortably and knock West Ham's confidence ahead of our game with them next week.

Shouldn't be a problem for Arsenal to beat West Ham today - it means they're pretty much out of the Champions League race and will have to play to win when they meet us next week, which should suit us perfectly
