Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Come on Yanited.. Do those Spuds next week! There is a very real chance that we end next weekend 10 points clear with 5 games remaining...
Koke Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Everton haven't even reached 40 points yet. Second successive season Everton finish bottom half. Martinez is truly a fraud.
Donut Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Ian Wright on 5 live says Aston Villa are "not a big club". I would have to say, of all the clubs to be relegated in the Premier League era, they have to be the biggest.
AyewJoking Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 newcastle? leeds? forest? leicester? Ian Wright on 5 live says Aston Villa are "not a big club". I would have to say, of all the clubs to be relegated in the Premier League era, they have to be the biggest cúnts man city?
Donut Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 newcastle? leeds? forest? leicester? man city? Villa bigger than all of those. If you put a combination of history of winning, consistently playing in the premier league, players that have represented them, size of fanbase, they are bigger than all mentionned.

Tuna Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Is it me or is this Rashford actually not even that good? He's too slow for this level. He's a good finisher under pressure but he just isn't quick enough. Yeah lets write him off after one poor performance at 17 years old playing in the premier league. After about 6 senior appearances.
The Doctor Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Leeds were far bigger at the time they went down than villa are now. Had won a title just 12 years earlier, were in the champions league semi finals 3 years early and a fixture in the top half. Villa are an ex big club circling the drain for 4/5 years.

Yeah Leeds for me too. Lets be honest, Villa have been a floater that just won't flush for a number of years.
weller54 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Can see Yanited getting something at WHL next weekend... 1-1.
AKCJ Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Villa bigger than all of those. If you put a combination of history of winning, consistently playing in the premier league, players that have represented them, size of fanbase, they are bigger than all mentionned. Leeds and Newcastle are both bigger.
Donut Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Leeds and Newcastle are both bigger. Leeds possibly, Newcastle? Youre having a laugh
StanSP Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Anyone hear the Sunderland fan on 606 saying: 1. We're only getting 5 more points for the rest of the season, 2. Arsenal will win the league with 77 points 3. Sunderland will beat us next week because they have Kaboul who can nullify Vardy, M'Vila & Cattermole who can nullify our midfield (DD & Kante), and that our central midfield won't be able to create anything because of theirs

StanSP Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Kaboul lol lol yeaah he said Kaboul is the quickest defender in the league so will be able to cope with Vardy.

StanSP Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I think if memory serves (wasnt listening THAT closely) he believed it was because Sunderland were in an excellent run of form and that Kaboul "had the pace to handle Vardy". yeah in addition to being in good form he mentioned having a good attack and being able to score against us. Using the logic of having 22 attempts vs West Brom. But they didn't actually score lol
lgfualol Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I remember Sunderland having a thread in about December saying "Would any leicester players get in our first 11?". Twas funny. Probably the same bloke.

Tbf their form is pretty damn excellent by Sunderland standards this year. 4 draws on the bounce now 4-game form of the two clubs (current league position of respective opponents): Sunderland: D-D-D-D (16-7-19-11) Leicester: W-W-W-W (14-19-16-7) We've both played Newcastle, Palace and Southampton in those runs. May as well throw in the towel now.
