foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I think we might beat Sunderland but it won't be 1-0 I want it to he 1 nil, really gets to that horrible Spurs lot
Soar Fox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Anyone hear the Sunderland fan on 606 saying: 1. We're only getting 5 more points for the rest of the season, 2. Arsenal will win the league with 77 points 3. Sunderland will beat us next week because they have Kaboul who can nullify Vardy, M'Vila & Cattermole who can nullify our midfield (DD & Kante), and that our central midfield won't be able to create anything because of theirs Didn't cattermole get dragged after 30 minutes in the opening game of the season?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Didn't cattermole get dragged after 30 minutes in the opening game of the season? Catermole is better than Zidane
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Super Sam's man, better than zidane... Caaaaatermole Would love another 1-0
demon_dog Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Think Arsenal will finish above Spurs now. With their game in hand and with an easier run in. Think that if Spurs lose next week and the gunners win, they will know for sure what squeaky bum time really means.
davieG Posted 4 April 2016 Author Posted 4 April 2016 Jack Wilshere is facing a dressing down from Arsene Wenger after testing his manager's patience with his off-field antics again. Wilshere, 24, has risked the wrath of Wenger after he was involved in an altercation between two groups of men outside a London nightclub, having also been chucked out of the nightspot, in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Arsenal and England star wasn't in breach of any club rules by being out but Wenger is sure to be frustrated by Wilshere's latest misdemeanour. Wilshere has exasperated Wenger with his behaviour away from the pitch in the past. He received a police warning for spitting on a Tottenham-supporting taxi driver who refused to take him home because he was too drunk. David Price/Arsenal FC via Getty Risking the wrath: Wilshere was involved in an altercation at a nightclub Wilshere has also been caught in smoking rows three times. In 2013 he was spotted outside a London nightclub holding a cigarette, and just a year later, at a party following England's World Cup exit, he was seen smoking in a swimming pool in Las Vegas. Last year Wilshere was pictured clutching a shisha pipe in a London nightclub. Splash History: Wilshere was pictured smoking in 2014 After that incident Wenger said the talented but injury-plagued midfielder needs to "master his life" so he is likely to take a dim view of Wilshere's latest brush with controversy. Wilshere has missed the whole season with a broken leg and returned to first team training last week as he closes in on a return to action. Wrighty wanted to laugh in his face
4ever and ever Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Conte confirmed. Hopefully now Terry can be offered a new deal and our game with them at the end of the season means nothing but letting us beat tottenham and Arsenal to the title!
Jimothy Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Catermole is better than Zidane I was going to say he is better at getting sent off, but even when Zidane does that he does it with a head butt to the chest in a World Cup final not a two footed lunge on Johnny Howson in a relegation 6 pointer.
Koke Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Wilshere is 24 and has done nothing in his career. Remember the British core Wenger gave long contracts to a few years back. They're all underachieving bottlers. The Spurs contingent has surpassed them in the space of 18 months.
Clever Fox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Despite Wenger's early success at Arsenal it's obvious that they are now a very poorly run Club. This leads me to believe that their early success was built on the back of what George Graham had left behind. They now have a bunch of overpaid under performing players, with the only stars being Sanchez, Cheh and Ozil.

Despite Keown and Bergkamp being the only ones in the invincibles side that were there before him, the latter being signed by Rioch? Wengers lost it now, stood still for far too long, but lets not pretend he wasn't a good manager for quite a while.

Wenger could be sited as a big indirect reason France won the World Cup in 1998.
NewEnglandFox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 I wish they'd say Conte's full name because it sounds exactly like Kanté.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 I wish they'd say Conte's full name because it sounds exactly like Kanté. Some of our fans don't even know there are two Steve Walshes
MC Prussian Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 I wish they'd say Conte's full name because it sounds exactly like Kanté. No, it doesn't. Conte=Kon-teh. Kanté=Kahn-teh.

The problem is with Wenger now he has simply become to soft with old age and can't rule with an Iron Fist when the pressure is on he crumbles and his team crumbles with him. His a great guy and been and excellent coach for us and we will always have the greatest respect and admiration for Arsene but it really is time for a change. The board are happy for him to just finish top 4 and his happy to just please the board season after season while us the fan gets priced out of the game while we watch the same shit every season. I will also add Wilshere is a complete prat and is stealing a living from Arsenal one of the most overhyped, overrated players I have ever seen. They called him the next Xavi that's an insult to the Spanard in my opinion.
Bryn Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 No, it doesn't. Conte=Kon-teh. Kanté=Kahn-teh. Actually I think in the French accent Kanté would sound the same as the Italian Conte. -an is pronounced like our on, -ain is pronounced like our an (like in pain au chocolat).

They simply aren't very good
yorkie1999 Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Am i right in thinking if we win 2 games and spurs lose 2 games, they cant catch us.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Yes, but don't forget Arsenal and Man City.
yorkie1999 Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Yes, but don't forget Arsenal and Man City.Ive not, but i was just sat watching the southampton game, again, and numbers started flashing around in my head.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 "The road to a 1st or 4th place finish" thread is excellent for keeping up with those flashing numbers.
Koke Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Despite Keown and Bergkamp being the only ones in the invincibles side that were there before him, the latter being signed by Rioch? Wengers lost it now, stood still for far too long, but lets not pretend he wasn't a good manager for quite a while. That's true but is Sol Campbell the only great defender Wenger has signed? Kolo Toure was pretty good for them as well I guess. Wenger was a great manager but he did inherit a superb back four + keeper, and he built a world class midfield and attack from that and it culminated in the best era of Arsenal's history. Since the Invincibles broke up some of the defenders Wenger has signed have been from decent to absolute shocking.
