foxfanazer Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Daily star reporting that Watford want to sign Knockaert next season. Awkward!
mozartfox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Deluded Sunderland fan has missed the entire season I suppose like a few pundits who simply cannot grasp the reality of our form. They simply aren't very good Blimey, the Education system on Wear-side needs a root and branch review.
Babylon Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Daily star reporting that Watford want to sign Knockaert next season. Awkward! Annoying he left in a way, with the system we play it's not as important to get wing cover as it was then, as we don't push on the full backs. So his lack of pace wouldn't have been so much of an issue.

Babylon Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 There are some players I'd have liked to stay just to enjoy our success. Knocky, Dyer and Nuge fkr example Feel sorry for Nuge, De Laet and James (missing this season injured must be horrible), other two never really wanted to go. Sod the others and success, they were offered contracts and decided not to take them.

De Laet will at least get a winners medal if we win it
MC Prussian Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 There are some players I'd have liked to stay just to enjoy our success. Knocky, Dyer and Nuge fkr example De Laet is on course for getting two Championship medals simultaneously. In the ideal case, I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunities to celebrate both our and Middlesbrough's success comes May. No hard feelings towards Nugent or for him in the opposite direction. I'm personally looking forward to a likely scenario of at least two LCFC - Boro matchups next season. Dyer threw his toys out of the pram at Watford. Hindsight is a beautiful thing - what if... he had accepted that one-year contract extension following our promotion to the Premier League?

Soar Fox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Nugent probably would have ended up getting more game time than Ranieri thought this season. Especially with Kramaric being disappointing and then getting loaned out.
m4DD0gg Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Rumour on bentleys of Andy Townsend to villa as DOF haha
filbertstreet Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Rumour on bentleys of Andy Townsend to villa as DOF haha Knowing them they'll probably screw it up and get Andros in instead
The Doctor Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Villa's new badge.. More accurate tbf - they've clearly not been prepared for any game this season.
MC Prussian Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Villa's new badge.. They're surely further away from the stars now, that's a given.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Wonder if we win the PL this season, whether during the close season they'll add a star to our badge. I've seen plenty of other clubs who have stars on their badges in relation to European/Premier League trophy winning successes for instance.
Richard Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Nicked off reddit - our league position after every game week this season
foxes_rule1978 Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Knowing them they'll probably screw it up and get Andros in instead Would be better off
LCFC FOX Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Looks like clubs are wanting slogans on there logos... We'll have fearless on our badge in the next few years
AKCJ Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Looks like clubs are wanting slogans on there logos... We'll have fearless on our badge in the next few years Eh? A club that has literally just removed a slogan from it's logo?
kushiro Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Also nicked off reddit. Wow. That is an awesome graphic. Only thing that slightly surprises me is us staying at 2000 to 1 throughout the Norwich away, Southampton away, Palace home sequence. In some ways that was my favourite period of the season - it was so clear something very special was building. Kante had just broken into the team, Vardy was in the middle of that run and we were playing some fantastic flowing football, in those two away games especially. Bookies a bit lax there - no doubt thinking the Arsenal result had put us in our place despite results against other sides. These games were the start of a six week sequence of 3pm Saturday kick-offs so most of the football world only saw the MOTD highlights and hadn't yet realised what a player Kante was.
Dan Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 That's one hell of a drop after Newcastle away. I can see why as well as that was a performance of a side that were the real deal.
