Babylon Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 These 3 clowns are thick scum, they will no doubt be sacked imminently. I couldn't give a toss what impact this has on their careers. It's this type of media that worries me: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11712/9870978/leicester-city-launch-investigation-into-thailand-video-as-three-players-sent-home See the very last quote from Piara Power, director of the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) society. It's a subtle attack on Nigel Pearson and given some of NP's current media antics this season, coupled with the fact it's his docile ignoramus of a son involved, makes him an easy target for this kind of damaging write up. Thankfully, with it being close season it's unlikely he will face the media on this for some time but with credible societies like FARE on our backs we will get some very negative media in the coming weeks. Mickey Adams said that everyone struggled with that after La Manga and with the feel good, team spirit factor being one our biggest assets, I worry for us a little in that respect. These three may have apologised but I'd wager they are far too stupid to fully understand the consequences of their actions on the rest of the club. James Pearson in particular has made his Dad's job very, very difficult for the immediate future. What a mess this is. The sooner the club bin these guys the better. I mean that's just ridiculous though isn't it, her final comment. At the end of the day you can go blue in the face telling people how they should act. If they choose to not follow that advice you can't blame him for the actions of 22 year olds.
thybluefox Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 I agree, not trying to detract from what they have done. I've said they should be sacked because of it, I just think there is a lot of people in glass houses chucking stones on here. Ha, 28k posts Babylon, I thought you'd be used to that by now These 3 clowns are thick scum, they will no doubt be sacked imminently. I couldn't give a toss what impact this has on their careers. He's got a point though - not about it being NP's fault, but the rest of it is pretty spot on.
Merging Cultures Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 You seem to "imagine" quite a lot of detail there. I am trying my hardest to not imagine all the detail from that video!!
GavT Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Like most big debates on foxes talk you can literally separate members into two categories. Moderate to high intelligence Thick As others have mentioned, this is not about the specific sex acts in the video. In fact, if it were just an orgy it wouldn't have attracted no way near as much of the spotlight. I'm sure the general public are bored of footballer sex stories at this stage. The main issue here is that these are privileged footballers from England and they are on film racially abusing and disrespting women in a very demeaning manner. The fact that they are prostitution does not make that acceptable. These lads are treating these girls like absolute scum. Which in fact makes them SCUM. For me its not about an orgy, boys will be boys, it's about 3 spoilt rich kids saying nasty and disrespectful things to girls during sex just because they think they can, because they paid for it and thought that was an entitlement to treat other human beings like dogs.... Its not the video, it's not the sex. It's not what they are doing....It's that that verbal behaviour is demeaning. Calling someone minging when you are having sex with them ? That's sexual bullying. Calling someone a slit eye ? Unbelievable that some people are saying it's a mountain out of a mole hill. Like most on here I did all sorts in my 20s but I never directly bullied or attempted to humiliate someone just because I had the power over them. All 3 will suffer huge public embarrassment and rightly so, they have all jeopardised their careers. They must deal with the negative consequences, not the club. LCFC will release them as soon as they legally can. Then they will have to speak for themselves rather than being able to hide and be protected by the club and its statements
Merging Cultures Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Because calling someone a prostitute is slightly better than a whore. Exactly. Oh, were you being sarcastic?
RonnieTodger Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Actually feel sorry for Nige. I doubt he'll have much of a say in what happens to these 3 but James has let him down, massively.
digitalalba Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Racism is a very bad crime, close to paedophilia and murder, so do we expect them to spend their careers in a Thai jail?
Ollie93 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Exactly. Oh, were you being sarcastic? Well done, you got the sarcasm.
Babylon Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Ha, 28k posts Babylon, I thought you'd be used to that by now Oh I am... I still try and point it out that. Racism is a very bad crime, close to paedophilia and murder, so do we expect them to spend their careers in a Thai jail? This is a joke right?

You also don't mention the point that they were on a tour of a country whose tourist authority sponsors our club and of which our owners are citizens and major employers. That, in itself, does not weaken your core argument, which would hold true wherever the so-called orgy took place. But we have to bear in mind the added shame they have brought on our owners and their country.

The very last quote is definitely not fair on Nigel. You know he would have gone ballistic at his son, and as has been said, he can't be responsible for another adults behaviour. The rest is spot on though.

Perhaps "Sorry Thailand" instead.
TOMBlcfc Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 I'm really not sure how we can run out next year with "Amazing Thailand" on the back of our shirts. Perhaps "Sorry Thailand" instead. At least their slogan still stands... 'Always amazes you' [emoji23]
Claridge Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Racism is a very bad crime, close to paedophilia and murder, so do we expect them to spend their careers in a Thai jail? What if you kill a black Paeodophile in a thai jail?
digitalalba Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 It's not just the racist jibe it's the entire thing being just absolutely deplorable. They're literally everything that's wrong with modern football and "lad" culture. The fact people have become so desensitised to this shit that people are defending it is just as woeful. Twenty years ago, the future best players of the world were scrubbing boots and driving clapped out fiestas. Now a bunch of useless pricks who'll struggle to get a career in league one are recording sex tapes of themselves abusing a bunch of local girls on a free all inclusive holiday to paradise, acting like they rule the world and are so pleased with themselves they send the evidence to their lad lad lad mates. Get rid, make an example, they're shit anyway. Should the blame for the kind of lad culture you explain, lay at the hands of the wider society that we all live in, or is it just an individual mindset?Maybe they don't believe in the culture of life that you do?
chapero82 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Are you for real? Consenting adults can do what they like and from what I can tell, prostitutes or not, consent doesn't seem to be an issue in this case. For some people, male and female, rimming or being rimmed is an essential part of foreplay and maybe their only root to sexual ecstasy. I personally don't like it and I don't really have the stomach to watch another bloke's arse getting a tonguing, but it doesn't matter what we find sexually appealing or not. Consenting adults can do these things and your outrage/disgust is completely irrelevant. One of my favourite quotes on this comes from the dissenting words of Lord Mustill speaking in a UK case (R v Brown[1994]) which I really recommend reading (enough degrading behaviour to make you even more outraged): Can everybody please just forget about what their opinion on the act of rimming and farting is. It is irrelevant. It doesn't matter if it's degrading, demeaning, depraved or distasteful - people consent to it and that is all that matters. If it materialises that the women did not consent to these acts then we have a different, more serious problem, but until that happens you have nothing to complain about other than the inappropriate (and possibly racist) remarks used. Read the above case (R v Brown) to be truly disgusted! These 3 will look like angels. What are you going on about??? This has nothing to do with being rimmed gay etc, the problem is these guys are being racist to women who are more than likely being forced into prostitutuon
Babylon Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 At least their slogan still stands... 'Always amazes you' [emoji23] We should have that on our club crest. I don't think any other club has been through as much on and off the pitch as we have the last couple of decades
GavT Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 The categorisation of FT was probably miss placed. It's the minority, just riled by a few of the responses.
leicsmac Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Oh I am... I still try and point it out that. This is a joke right? He's been fishing since this time yesterday. Wouldn't worry that much.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 The last quote in that article is pretty out of order. Remember Pearson is the man who dropped Wayne Brown the day before the play off semi final. He knew it might sacrifice our season but his morals were far more important.
Stevosevic Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 How many racist comments were there and who were they made by?
Merging Cultures Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 How many racist comments were there and who were they made by? One is too many and by one of our clubs representatives.
digitalalba Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 This is a joke right? How can the serious crime of racism be treated as a joke?
