Thracian Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 You certainly aren't considering where most of the dross you bigged up ended I don't remember "bigging-up" anyone as such - just remarking that they were the best we had at the time. It wasn't my fault Porter did what he did and wrecked his career. But I don't recall us having better in his position at the time. King went on to prove himself one of our most consistent talents even in The Premiership, Gradel seems to be first choice for the Manager of the Decade at Premiership Bournemouth, Stearman played a lot of games as first choice both for us and Wolves in the Premiership, Billy McKay went on to be a repeated top scorer at Inverness CT in the Scottish Premiership, Wesolowski did well enough but had bad luck with injuries and to this day I reckon Sheehan was more effective than Mattock (but I don't kid myself - nor ever have - that either would have got near our team since Pearson's arrival, although we could still do with a guy who could strike a dead ball with Sheehan's accuracy. None were "bigged up". We didn't have a team worth "bigging up" alongside the 60s team I was brought up on. That's your label. Haha i seriously doubt we'd have graduated a single player if you'd had your way. It would always have been too risky. They would never have been quite ready. Trust in the manager - even if it was Rob Kelly!

Countryfox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Moore is simply not good enough at the moment and needs more game time with someone else
filbertstreet Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 brentford gave him back to us because he was shite, get the feeling he's not going to be world class

Foreverfox Posted 31 August 2015 Posted 31 August 2015 Brizzie City on loan http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/08/31/por-leicester-ace-moore-set-for-bristol-city-loan/?
katieakita Posted 31 August 2015 Posted 31 August 2015 Would be a good move and a good test for him, didn't shine in his time at Brentford so needs to play regular for Brizzle also Cotterill is a good coach.
Nalis Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 On sky sports now. Going Bristol city On loan? If so, happy enough with that.
Finnegan Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Thracian spectacularly re-writing history. Christ alive that's embarrassing.
mozartfox Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Not happy with this one. Should at least be given a chance to play at right back. Hopefully there is a an immediate recall clause, should injuries prevail? The fact he has been in and out of the team for as long asI can remember has not exactly helped his cause. Are we getting Nick Maynard as part of the deal??
Guest Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 Thracian spectacularly re-writing history. Christ alive that's embarrassing. Finnegan why are you joining in the Thrac bashing? Isn't a fan allowed to be excessively optimistic about players that he watches week in week out from a young age?
Buce Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 None of us really know what his skill level is or could be. Only those at the club who do asses and understand talent evaluation know whether he can cut it and what he is worth to us or someone else. If they assess him that he should be sold I will back that decision. Will they be coming out of the closet soon? Interesting times.

FoxinNotts Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 http://mobile.bcfc.co.uk//news/article/city-loan-in-leicesters-moore-2659718.aspx Confirmed officially
EGBFitness Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 He needs game time, still needs to mature as a CB as he still has a lot of flaws. Personally would like him to stay here as think he still offers something and will learn a lot of Huth plus he provides good cover. Can see why he has been loaned out though and hopefully he does a good job there and develops a lot. Be with their with Hamer too so will be good to see how they work together.
Rob1742 Posted 1 September 2015 Posted 1 September 2015 I think his issue is that he really believes he is currently good enough to be one of our regular centre backs, when he isn't. He has gone all big time Charlie and rather than knuckle down and learn he has an exaggerated opinion of himself. Therefore I don't think he is all that bright and so will become a Championship player.
