Hes not a Leicester player anymore so the club are hardly going to let him in and see what we are working on in case he signs for another Premiership team

lol

You think we're sat down today drawing up our masterplan? The players will be mostly going through their fitness work.

ha - yeah, i was going to mention that too! plus, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he'd be there today and the club allows him to stay on and work on his fitness. after all, maybe he's holding off on signing a new contract until he knows who our new manager will be? like i say, i think he's off anyway, but yeah, it isn't totally beyond the realms of possibility him being there today.

You would think, if his intentions were to carry on playing for us, regardless of whether he needs to sort out a contract, sign on a dotted line or wait it out to see who is in charge, he would turn up for pre season for his fitness levels.

If he hasn't, then to me it looks like he's decided against it.

Would you go in work if you didn't have to???

If I thought I was going to be at said workplace for another 12 months and I liked the job then yeah.  Especially as pre season is there for a reason and gets you ready for August.

Unless of course your suggesting that his no show today (if thats what it is) isn't because he doesn't want to stay, its just that he cant actually be arsed?

If you liked the place and thought you were gunna b there for another 12 months then surely you would have signed a contract to keep you at this place you liked so much???

ummm.....exactly.

Which is why I said in my comment above that if its a no show from him today, then it looks like hes not staying.  You implied that he might not be there because he doesn't have to be which I don't think would be his attitude IF he intended to stay.

Doesn't mean he's not going to just because he hasn't turned up for training, but because he hasn't signed why would u turn up???

Do we even know if he has shown up? Has nobody gone doon the ground dressed in a black suit hiding behind an umbrella peering through a hole they've cut in today's edition of the Sun?

It makes no sense to stay until he's spoken to the new manager. If the new gaffer doesn't see Cambi in his plans, we're tied to a player we won't be using and Cambiasso has ruined one of his final years.

Stoke are the next team putting their hat in the ring:  http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jul/07/football-transfer-rumours-angel-di-maria-bayern-munich

Esteban Cambiasso, who has yet to sign a new deal with Leicester, could soon be part of Mark Hughes’s Stoke revamp. And so could Reading’s Ali al-Habsi, who will be drafted in as Jack Butland’s deputy if Asmir Begovic gets his dream move to become Thibaut Courtois’ deputy at Chelsea.
